Police Beat: Sept. 9, 2007

ALASKA STATE TROOPERS WARRANT ARREST Sept. 2, 9:19 p.m.: Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Mile 3 of the Big Lake Road in Big Lake for a moving violation. The driver was identified as 19-year-old Daniel G. Bailey of Houston. Investigation revealed Bailey had a $500 outstanding warrant for failure to appear, original charge of driving while license suspended. Subsequent investigation revealed Bailey's license was also revoked. Bailey was arrested and was remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on the warrant and the charge of driving while license revoked. Combined bail was set at $1,500
