ALASKA STATE TROOPERS MICS Dec. 24, 9:25 p.m.: Troopers stopped a vehicle near Bogard Road and Bear Street in Wasilla for an equipment violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jack A. Nicholas, 26, of Wasilla. AST K-9 Roelle revealed Nicholas was in possession of a small amount of marijuana, two pipes and approximately one gram of hash. Nicholas was issued a summons to appear in court at a later date and released from the scene.
