WARRANT ARREST
March 24: Officers received a report of a male driving with a cancelled license and stopped a vehicle described by the complainant. Isreal Chapson, 21, of Wasilla was arrested on a $100 warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on the original charge of driving without a valid license.

March 27: Leroy Herbert Blix III, 21, of Wasilla was arrested on a $500 outstanding warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of theft by shoplifting. He was contacted in the Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot and remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was held in lieu of the bail amount.
March 28: Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, William R. Phillips, 24, of Palmer was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for an Alcohol Safety Action Program. Phillips was lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $500 bail.
March 28: Police stopped a vehicle for a report of a passenger attempting to exit the moving vehicle and a possible fight between the driver and passenger. Both occupants had active warrants and were transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Justin Adam Werner, 31, of Palmer was arrested on a $2,500 warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation on the original charge of assault IV, interferring with a report of a domestic violence crime. He was also remanded for driving under the influence and held in lieu of an additional $500 bail. His passenger, Samuel Robert Tucker, 28, of Palmer, was remanded on a $2,500 cash warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of DUI and two separate failure to appear charges. Additionally he was held in lieu of $250 bail for false information to a police officer.
March 29: Margueritte Huit, 45, of Houston turned herself in on two arrest warrants. The first was for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while her license is suspended. The second warrant was for failure to comply with probation conditions. She was remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $750 bail.
March 29: Police arrested Ryan Bateson, 26, of Palmer on a warrant for failure to comply with community work service and probation on a original charge of unsworn falsification. Bateson was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was held on $500 cash or corporate bail.
THEFT
March 25: Police received a report of a theft of a generator from the Palmer United Rentals store. The theft occurred sometime between Jan. 1 and Jan. 10.
March 28: Officers responded to the Palmer Carrs store for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Garrett Pietrok, 18, of Palmer was issued a summons for alleged theft IV and released at the scene.
RUNAWAYS / MISSING PERSONS
March 25: The staff at Job Corps reported a 17-year-old male student as a runaway.
DUI
March 26: Police received a report of a blue Ford Ranger pickup being driven erratically on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. David R. Alvarez, 52, of Palmer was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $500 bail.

March 27: Following a traffic stop for tinted windows, officers contacted Jared Jamison, 19, of Sutton. Jamison was arrested for driving while his license is revoked and remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $1,000 bail. A passenger in the vehicle, Russell Blakeman Jr., 23, of Sutton, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation for driving under the influence and remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facilty on $500 bail.
March 28: Tristan Lee Muffoletto, 23, of Wasilla was contacted for an expired registration and arrested for driving while his license is suspended. He was remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was held in lieu of $250 bail.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
March 27: Officers responded to the Palmer Fred Meyer for a report of a male in custody with Loss Prevention. Steven Piper, 18, of Palmer was arrested for criminal trespass II and being a habitual offender for minor allegedly consuming alcohol. Piper was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $1,000 cash-only bail.
HIT AND RUN
March 30: Larry W. Winter, 66, of Wasilla reported his vehicle had been struck in the parking lot of the Palmer fairgrounds while parked during the gun show.

THEFT
March 27: A 24-year-old Wasilla woman reported that sometime during the early morning hours her vehicle was gone through and several items were taken. The investigation continues.
March 27: A 26-year-old Wasilla woman reported the theft of a firearm from her residence off Kali Circle. The investigation is continuing.
WARRANT ARREST
March 27: Jeffrey Munholland Sr., 34, of Wasilla was arrested on a $1,000 warrant for failing to appear for a court hearing. Munholland was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.
ASSAULT
March 27: Police responded to a disturbance off of Church Road. Police contacted a 42-year-old Wasilla woman who reported a male and female assaulted her and damaged her vehicle. Police have suspect information and the investigation is continuing.
DUI
March 27: Police received a complaint that there was a fight in progress in the Wal-Mart parking lot. A subsequent investigation found probable cause to believe Nicholas Grippin, 19, of Wasilla was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested. Grippin was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where bail was set at $1,500, cash or corporate.
March 27: Police responded to an apartment complex on Snohomish Avenue for a report of a domestic violence assault in progress. Officers arrived and made contact with Shanyne David, 43, of Wasilla. During the investigation it was determined the reported assault was unfounded, however, David was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test. Due to David having two prior DUI convictions, both offenses will be charged as felonies. David was remanded at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on a $5,000 cash/performance bond.

March 27, 5 p.m.: Joseph Santa, 39, of Wasilla was cited for ice fishing with three lines after being contacted by Palmer Wildlife Troopers on Finger Lake. Santa’s bail was set at $60 in the Palmer District Court.
FAILURE TO SEAL A BLACK BEAR
March 26, 3:20 p.m.: Marc Seibel, 43, of Palmer was cited for failing to seal a black bear he took in 2007 after being contacted by Palmer Wildlife Troopers. Bail was set at $110 in the Palmer District Court.

March 28, 11:25 p.m.: Troopers responded to a single vehicle collision on Guernsey Road near Ayshier at Point MacKenzie. Marvin J. Schrock, 39, of Wasilla was traveling northbound on Guernsey Road in a 2003 Chevy pickup when a moose ran in front of Schrock, from the west side of the road, and Schrock hit it. Schrock and his passengers were wearing their seatbelts and reported no injuries. Schrock’s vehicle had over $2,000 of damage.

March 28, 6:45 p.m.: Troopers stopped a gold 1989 Nissan two-door car at Mile 6.5 on the Old Glenn Highway for an equipment violation. Ryan T. Sisti, 19, of Anchorage was issued a summons for driving while his license is suspended and the vehicle was parked near the scene.
March 28, 10:41 p.m.: The South-Central DUI Enforcement Team stopped a 1976 Chevy Blazer near the intersection of Lucille Street and Crestwood Drive in Wasilla for an equipment violation. Paul Schmelzer, 26, of Wasilla was issued a summons to appear in the Palmer Court for driving while his license is suspended. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
March 29, 1:58 a.m.: The South-Central DUI Enforcement Team stopped a 1991 Jeep Cherokee near the intersection of Bogard Road and Seward Meridian Parkway in Wasilla for an equipment violation. Glen Lukas II, 21, of Wasilla was issued a summons to appear in the Palmer Court for driving while his license is suspended. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

March 29, 3:45 a.m.: Troopers stopped a 1986 Ford at the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and Seward Meridian intersection for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as Amber Cornell, 21, of Palmer. Further investigation revealed Cornell’s driver license is suspended. Cornell was issued a summons for driving while license suspended and released at the scene.
March 29, 6:30 p.m.: Troopers stopped a 1997 Ford pickup for expired registration on the Parks Highway near Lucus Road in Wasilla. The driver was identified as David Anderson, 47, of Willow. Investigation revealed that Anderson was driving with a revoked license. Anderson was issued a summons and released.
March 30, 8:29 a.m.: Troopers stopped a 1998 Ford Windstar on Lacey Loop near Spruce Avenue. Investigation revealed Brenda Cox, 47, of Wasilla was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver license. Cox was summonsed to Palmer court for driving while license suspended and released.
March 28, 3:27 a.m.: Troopers conducted a traffic stop at Mile 43 Parks Highway on a white 1993 Pontiac car for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed Kyle Hatfield, 20, of Wasilla was driving with a suspended operator license. Hatfield was issued a summons for driving while license suspended and ordered to appear in Palmer court.
March 28, 9:14 a.m.: Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black 1997 Mazda truck for a traffic violation near Parks Highway and Hermon Road. Investigation revealed Brennon Kraemer, 20, of Wasilla was driving without a valid operator license. Kraemer was issued a summons to appear in Palmer court for driving without a valid operator license and then released.
DUI
March 28, 4:46 p.m.: After receiving a REDDI report, troopers conducted a traffic stop on Smalley Circle near Stanley Road in Wasilla on a 1996 GMC truck being operated by John Duhamel, 52, of Wasilla. Duhamel was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Palmer Post where he refused to provide a sample of his breath for a Datamaster test. Duhamel was subsequently charged with felony refusal. Duhamel was remanded into Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was held on $10,000 bail.
March 29, 3:09 a.m.: The South-Central DUI Enforcement Team contacted Kenneth Avery Vance, 40, of Sutton after he was observed driving his vehicle into a ditch off the Glenn Highway near Eska Creek Road in Sutton. While being taken into custody, Vance resisted arrest. Vance was arrested for driving under the influence, driving while his license is suspended and resisting arrest. Vance was remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on a $3,000 bail.
March 29, 2:14 a.m.: Troopers arrested Steven Patrick Timblin, 45, of Palmer for driving while intoxicated in Palmer. Timblin was contacted for speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Old Glenn Highway near Airport Road. Upon contacting the driver, troopers noticed the odor of alcohol on his breath. Investigation revealed Timblin was allegedly driving while intoxicated. Timblin was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Timblin’s vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.
March 29, 9:05 p.m.: Troopers responded to a REDDI report on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway near Trunk Road in Palmer. Investigation revealed that Charles M. Hayes, 37, of Palmer had allegedly been operating his turquoise 1994 Chrysler four-door sedan while under the influence of alcohol. Hayes was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.
March 30, 1:51 a.m.: South-Centrall DUI Enforcement Team stopped a 1995 Saturn near Mile 11 Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a Wasilla 17-year-old. Investigation found the teen to have allegedly consumed alcohol while under 21 years of age. He was also found to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, minor operating after consuming alcohol and minor consuming alcohol. He was released to a sober adult and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
March 30, 4:28 a.m.: Troopers arrested Jeremy Eichenberge, 26, of Wasilla for driving under the influence after the vehicle he was driving was stopped at Seldon and Lucille. Investigation revealed Eichenberge was allegedly under the influence, impaired and operating a motor vehicle. Eichenberge was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Bail was set to release him to a sober third party.
March 29, 10:10 p.m.: Troopers arrested Lawrence Clark, 40, of Wasilla for driving under the influence, driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release after he was contacted on Bogard Road near Seward Meridian Road during a traffic stop. Clark also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence. Lawrence was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Bail was set at $1,250 in addition to $500 for the outstanding warrant.

March 30, 1:05 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle near Mile 14 Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla for an equipment violation. The operator was identified as a 17-year-old female from Palmer. The operator was issued a summons to appear in Palmer court for minor operating after consuming alcohol and minor consuming alcohol and released to her parents pending her court appearance.
March 30, 2:13 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle near Mile 19 Knik-Goose Bay Road near Wasilla for an equipment violation. The operator was identified as a 16-year-old male of Wasilla and was found to allegedly have been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for driving under the influence, minor operating after consuming alcohol and minor consuming alcohol. The juvenile was processed and then released to his parents pending his initial court appearance.
March 30, 5:09 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team contacted a 17-year-old Wasilla female after the vehicle she was operating was stopped on Knik-Goose Bay Road near Compass Drive in Wasilla for an equipment violation. The operator was found to have been allegedly operating the vehicle after consuming alcohol while under the age of 21. The operator was issued a summons to appear in the Palmer court for minor consuming alcohol and minor operating after consuming alcohol. The operator was released on scene to a sober adult.
March 30, 2:50 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team contacted a Wasilla 17-year-old after the vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped on Knik-Goose Bay Road near Mile 19 for an equipment violation. He was found to have allegedly consumed alcohol while under the age of 21. He was issued a summons to appear in Palmer court for minor consuming alcohol.
March 30, 4:24 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team contacted Robin Alan Button, 20, of Big Lake after the vehicle he was operating was stopped on Knik-Goose Bay Road near Bogle Bluff for an equipment violation. Button was found to allegedly have been operating the vehicle after consuming alcohol while under the age of 21. Button was issued a summons to appear in Palmer court for minor operating after consuming alcohol and minor consuming alcohol. Button was released on scene to a sober adult.
March 30, 2:10 a.m.: South-Central DUI Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle at Mile 11 Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla for erratic driving. Matthew Heritage, 19, of Anchorage, Loriann Weaver, 18, of Houston, and a 17-year-old male of Wasilla were contacted as passengers in the vehicle and found to have allegedly consumed alcohol. All three were issued summonses to appear in Palmer court for minor consuming alcohol. Heritage and Weaver were released at the scene and the 17-year-old male was released to the custody of his mother.
WARRANT ARREST
March 30, 4:30 p.m.: Troopers arrested Sean Wiederholt, 24, of Anchorage near Big Lake. Troopers received a tip that Wiederholt, who had multiple arrest warrants, was staying at a residence in the Big Lake area. Troopers went to the residence, found Wiederholt and arrested him without incident. Wiederholt was transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he is being held without bail for charges involving criminal mischief III, refusal, driving under the influence, no insurance and assault IV.
April 1, 12:10 p.m.: Maxx A. Foltz, 21, of Wasilla was contacted by the Judicial Services Warrant Section for a warrant service at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility, where he is lodged pending other court matters. The warrant was for theft II. He was lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail only.
April 1, 5:35 p.m.: Matthias W. Sturgeon, 21, of Wasilla was contacted by the Judicial Services Warrant Section for a warrant service at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility, where he is lodged pending other court matters. The warrant was for failure to appear for pre-trial conference on an original charge of assault IV.
April 1, 12:10 p.m.: Joshua R. Beaty, 20, of Palmer was contacted by the Judicial Services Warrant Section for a warrant service at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility, where he was lodged pending other court actions. The warrant was for theft II. He was lodged at Mat Su Pre-Trial Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail only.
THEFT / BURGLARY
March 30, 10:30 a.m.: Troopers were notified of a stolen vehicle. A Palmer man reported that a 1991 Chevrolet pickup was taken from a residence on Evergreen Street in Palmer. He contacted troopers a short time later and reported he had located the missing vehicle on Hermann Avenue in Palmer. Troopers responded and an investigation revealed no damage to the vehicle and nothing missing from the vehicle. The case is under investigation. March 30, 5:10 p.m.: Troopers received a report of a stolen vehicle. A Palmer woman reported that a 1978 Dodge Sportsman motor home had been taken from a business near Mile 49 of the Parks Highway. Investigation revealed the motor home was towed from the property by another vehicle at about 5 p.m. March 30 by unknown persons. The motor home is valued at $1,000. The case is under investigation. March 30, 6:50 p.m.: Troopers responded to report of a burglary at a residence on Red Birch Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) forced entry in to the residence and took an electronic item valued at about $140 and $50 in cash. April 1, 11 a.m.: Troopers were notified of a theft from a residence. A Wasilla man reported a Glock 10mm handgun, valued at $600 dollars was missing from a residence on East Chapman Drive in Wasilla. The firearm was taken sometime between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 31. The case is under investigation.
