PALMER — It was a different day, but 80 minutes of soccer produced the same result.

After playing to a 3-3 tie earlier this season, the Colony Knights and Palmer Moose once again posted a 3-3 tie at Palmer High School on Tuesday.

Freshman Jamie Krediet, sophomore Jessica Farrell and sophomore Katie Gonski each scored for Colony.

Senior Kailyn Beetch, senior Jessica Wyckoff and sophomore Raelynn Quintavell found the back of the net for the Moose.

The Moose and Knights could also be tied in the Northern Lights Conference standings, depending on what happens on Saturday.

With Colony’s 2-1 loss to Wasilla on Wednesday, the Knights dropped to 2-1-1 in NLC play. Palmer is currently 1-1-1, and with a win over Grace Christian at Anchorage Football Stadium on Saturday could be locked in a second-place tie with the Knights. Because of the 3-3 tie on Tuesday, seeding for the upcoming NLC tourney would be determined by a series of tiebreakers. The tournament’s host, Soldotna High School, is expected to release the official brackets on Monday.

WASILLA — Alex Firestack and Randi Smith both scored twice to lead Wasilla to a 13-0 Northern Lights Conference win over Houston at Wasilla High School on Tuesday.
