Dorothy E. Davis, 42,  died of natural causes on May 26, 2008. Services will be held Wednesday, June 4 at Kehl’s Forest Lawn Mortuary in Anchorage. A visitation is scheduled from noon to1 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m.. with burial following at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery. Native potlatch will be after the services at Valley Moon Park.

Davis was born March 2, 1966 at Kanaknek Hospital to Nick Peterson and Pauline Knight Williams.

She was the youngest of 10 siblings. Her family states, “Dorothy was a loving mother, sister and the Lord has always been first in her life. She lived life to the fullest and shared her native talents, crafts and cooking with her family and dearest friends. She shared stories of her childhood with her children, niece, nephews, family friends in and out of state. She will be greatly missed. God bless you all.” Davis is survived by her husband of eight years, Galen Davis; daughters Bristol of Washington and Tracey Reed of Palmer; son Garrison Marshel of Washington; brother John Peterson and sister-in-law Karen; brothers Earl, Alec and Samuel Peterson; sisters Georgia Farrens and brother-in-law Mark, Mary Ann Caddel and brother-in-law Michael, Betty Mae Traffin and brother-in-law Traffie, and Katherine (Boston) Richards and brother-in-law James; 23 nephews and nieces; and 20 great niece and nephews.
