June 10, 8:14 a.m., Carrs/Safeway: Two male adults were allegedly trying to get into several different vehicles. Jeremy Janis, 19, Wasilla, was arrested for criminal trespass II, as he had been previously trespassed. Jeremy Simile, 21, Wasilla, was arrested for MICS (misconduct involving a controlled substance) VI. Bail, $500 each.

June 10, La Fiesta Dos: Suspects made entry and took cash and merchandise. Investigation continues.
June 11, 5:17 p.m., Sportsman’s Warehouse: Juvenile in custody for shoplifting $30 in merchandise. The juvenile released to a relative. A report will be filed with Juvenile Intake.
June 12: A business owner reported the theft of an undisclosed amount of cash and supplies had been taken. Investigation continues.

June 11, 10:21 a.m., Parks Hwy. at the Holiday Gas Station: Sherrilyn Ray, 35, Wasilla, turned left in front of a car driven by Robert Rosenberger, 65, Talkeetna. No injuries.
June 11, 6:03 p.m., Mat-Su Family Restaurant: A truck driven by a 17-year-old Wasilla resident struck a parked rental car owned by Hertz Vehicles of Anchorage. Substantial damage.
June 12, 12:19 p.m., Willow St. and Herning Ave.: A truck driven by a 17-year-old male of Wasilla failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a car driven by William Wallace, 25, Orlando, Calif. No injuries.

June 12, 4:49 a.m., Robin Cir.: During a disturbance report, investigation revealed an apartment rented by a 25-year-old male had been broken into. Damage, approximately $500. Investigation continues.

June 12, 10:24 p.m.: Carl Pajak, 43, and Kymberli Pajak, 44, both of Wasilla, cited for making a false statements on a license application. Both Pajaks’ allegedly purchased 2008 resident low-income combo licenses while still obtaining benefits as a resident of another state. Bail, $310 each.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS
June 17, 6:31 p.m., Mulchatna Dr.: Three juvenile males, ages 16, 16, and 14, all of Wasilla, entered a residence through an open garage. Upon being confronted by the homeowner, they fled. No items reported taken. The juveniles issued summonses for criminal trespass II and two were released to parents. The third was arrested on a warrant for MCA (minor consuming alcohol) and was remanded to Mat-Su Youth Facility.
WARRANT ARREST
June 17, 6 a.m., off Wasilla-Fishhook Dr.: William S. Bentti, 27, Wasilla, contacted at his residence for a warrant for FTA (failure to appear), original charge of DWLS (driving while license suspended). Bentti resisted arrest by use of physical force. Bail, $6,500.
DV (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) ASSAULT
June 16, 8:10 p.m., Charley Dr., Wasilla: Jessica D. Linn, 24, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member. No bail.

June 16, 6:54 p.m., Hyer Rd. and Fireweed Rd.: Floyd Newkirk, 52, Homer, was driving a 1996 FRHT semi, making a right turn from Hyer Road onto Fireweed Road, when his trailer struck the guard rail. Damage, $5,000. Seatbelt worn. No injuries. Newkirk cited for failure to carry log book.
June 16, 11:44, Bogard Rd. near Tait Dr.: Jacob R. Lane, 19, Wasilla, was traveling east when his vehicle was rear ended by a vehicle driven by Kelly A. Lacher, 19, Wasilla. Seatbelts worn. Minor injuries. Minor damage.
June 17, 12:57 p.m., Trunk Rd. near Tern Dr.: Ashley Smith, 21, Palmer, was southbound and crossed over the centerline and collided with John Jansen, 71, Palmer. Jansen and his passenger treated and released. Smith injured and taken to Mat-Su Regional for treatment. Seatbelts worn. Damage to Jansen’s car, $7,500. Smith’s car a total loss. Smith cited for failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision.
