Speed demon

BUTTE — As part of a three-day Independence Day drag racing weekend, Alaska Raceway Park invited Edmonton, Alberta, driver Bruce Andrew back to the Butte quarter-mile drag strip for a few exhibition passes in his Northern F/X jet dragster.  Equipped with crowd-pleasing afterburners, Andrew’s car made several passes Friday, reaching 237 mph during one bone-rattling run.
