July 7, 5:32 p.m., E. Chugach View Dr.: A burglary and theft occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The front door was kicked in and an X-Box 360 was stolen. Value, $300. Damage, $500.
July 10, 9:01 a.m., Settlers Bay Dr.: Between 4:30 p.m. July 9 and 7 a.m. July 10, someone prIEed open the front door to a business and knocked over an empty cash register. Nothing reported taken.
July 10: Tracey Rhoads, 21, and Joshua Bussell, 19, both of Palmer, arrested and charged with burglary II and theft II following investigation of theft in Palmer. Rhoads’ bail, $5,000; Bussell’s bail, $25,000 with court-approved third party.

July 5, 6:41 p.m., Knik Country Liquor near Pittman Rd.: Phillip Lawton, 39, Anchorage, contacted in the parking lot for a REDDI report. Lawton charged with DUI (driving under the influence) with two 9-year-old children in vehicle. Bail, $2,500 plus court-approved third party.

July 9, 3:57 p.m.: Vladimir Michael Danilenko, 27, Wasilla, observed driving his vehicle into an area noted for illegal trash dumping. Charge: DUI.

July 6, 12:28 a.m., Mile 10.4 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: William M. Johnson, 46, Wasilla, fell asleep while driving south, left the roadway and traveled approximately 300 yards before stopping. Johnson was transported to Mat-Su Regional for evaluation. Seatbelts worn. Damage, $10,000.
July 6, 5:12 a.m., Trunk Rd. near Duchess Dr.: Thomas J. Vickrey, 23, Palmer, was southbound when he apparently fell asleep, ran off road and rolled the vehicle. Seatbelt worn; no injuries. Charge: DUI, refusal. Bail, $500.
July 7, 3:58 p.m., Turner’s Corner: Gary McDannel, 61, Wasilla, collided with a parked car in the parking lot belonging to Thor Saum, 18, Palmer. Minor damage.
July 8, 8:05 p.m., Mountian High Pizza Pie, Talkeetna: A 16-year-old male from Talkeetna jumped out of a pickup bed while it was still moving. The 16-year-old driver of Willow didn’t know he jumped out, and inadvertently ran him over. The victim was transported to Mat-Su Regional with minor injuries.

July 8, 7:04 a.m., Kalli Cir. subdivision: A 32-year-old male reported his truck missing. The vehicle is a black and white 1992 Mazda pickup with a West Coast Chopper sticker and flame painting on the hood.
July 8, 7:27 p.m., Fred Meyer: Tami Hobson, 41, Wasilla, was caught by loss prevention allegedly purchasing bulk food items and intentionally under-valuing the items during self checkout. Value, $154.88. Summonsed for theft III.
July 9, 4:51 p.m., Fred Meyer: Roger Harvey, 21, Palmer, was placed under citizen’s arrest for allegedly stealing. Value, $31. Harvey was also found to be in possession of illegal drugs. Remended to Mat-Su Pre-Trial.

July 8, 6:57 p.m., near Mat-Su Family Restaurant: A Wasilla man found a wallet near Mat-Su Family Restaurant belonging to Sherry Armstrong. The wallet was placed into safekeeping.

July 9, 2:04 p.m., Parks Hwy. at Lucille St.: A 16-year-old Big Lake female was stopped when her vehicle was rear-ended by Michael McKeever, 49, Wasilla. No injuries. Citations/summonses for McKeever: failing to exercise due care to avoid a collision, no proof of insurance and DWLS.
