SILVER LINING

Rainbow River Expeditions owner Kevin Hartman fillets a silver salmon Thursday morning at the Little Su public boat launch, which is in the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge near Point MacKenzie. Silver fishing is heating up around the Valley. As of Thursday afternoon, more than 50 silvers had been recorded for the day at the Little Su Public Use Facility. Wednesday also saw fishermen reel in more than 50.
