VANDALISM July 21, 4:37 p.m., Chepo’s: A 19-year-old reported his vehicle was damaged and broken into in the parking lot. A wallet was stolen from the vehicle. THEFT / SHOPLIFTING July 21, 8:47 p.m.: A Wasilla female reported the theft of 50 Vicodin pills from her residence. July 23, 8:29 a.m., Holiday Gas Station: A 45-year old female reported her credit card was stolen and used at multiple businesses. July 23, 3:23 p.m., Fred Meyer: A loss prevention employee reported she had Linda Moore, 51, Wasilla, in custody for allegedly stealing a watch. Value, $19.99. Remanded accordingly. July 23, 7:43 p.m., Wal-Mart: Loss prevention reported two 16- and 17-year-old juveniles in custody for stealing $30.47 in merchandise. The juveniles released to parents; charges forwarded to Juvenile Intake. RESTRAINING ORDER VIOLATION July 21, 9:24 p.m., Blockbuster Video at Fred Meyer: A woman reported her ex-husband was violating a restraining order by following her. Andrian Martucheff, 41, Wasilla, arrested and remanded accordingly. MCA July 23, 12:19 a.m., Tailgaters: A 17-year-old male consumed alcohol. Summonsed for MCA (minor consuming alcohol). MVC July 23, 3:25 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Crusey St.: Basil Lyon, 77, Wasilla, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Joanna Strand, 50, Wasilla, who in turn rear-ended Marvella Webster, 59, Palmer. No injuries. Lyon cited for failing to exercise due care to avoid collision. DUI July 25, 1:55 a.m., Pittman Rd. at Parks Hwy.: Karole Bales, 31, Wasilla, contacted as a REDDI. At the department, Bales allegedly assaulted the arresting officer by kicking him while he was attempting to administer the required breath test. Charges: DUI (driving under the influence), refusal and assault IV. Bail, $3,000. PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT MICS July 21, A-Moosement Park: Sarah Dawn MacCallum, 24, Wasilla, summonsed on a charge of MICS (misconduct involving a controlled substance) VI and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor following a report of three females smoking from a glass pipe. WARRANT ARREST July 22, Palmer Police Department Lobby: Jon Howard, 47, Palmer, turned himself in on a warrant for DUI (driving under the influence). Bail, $2,500. July 23: Tobias Daniel Armento, 30, Palmer, arrested at his residence on a warrant for larceny, original charges of two counts of issuing a bad check, theft II and III. Held in lieu of bail. July 24: Erica Marlene Rothenbuhler, 27, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for failure to remand to serve time, original charge of DUI. VIOLATING CONDITIONS OF RELEASE July 22, Palmer Chevron: Barbara M. Gilhousen, 52, Palmer, arrested for violating conditions of release for allegedly harassing customers. Bail, $400. VANDALISM July 23: A 68-year-old male reported his window on his residence was damaged from a B.B. or pellet. SEXUAL ASSAULT July 23: A juvenile male allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female. LOST AND FOUND July 23, near Glenn Hwy.: A set of keys with small photos attached was turned in. THEFT July 24, Fred Meyer: A 16-year-old Sutton male was observed leaving with $9.37 in unpaid items. Released to a parent. Charge of theft IV forwarded to Juvenile Justice. July 26, N. Chugach St.: Items stolen include jewelry, coins and a laptop computer. Value, $5,000. MCA July 26: Kristopher L. Pullen, 18, Palmer, summonsed for alleged MCA (minor consuming alcohol). Released to sober friends. DUI July 27: Justin Drinkwine, 25, Ft. Richardson, stopped for violation. Charges: DUI and five counts of MIW (misconduct involving a weapon) IV. Bail, $1,000. MVC July 23, 3:33 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Seward Meridian Pkwy.: Lana Henley, 56, Palmer, was unable to stop and rear-ended Deborah Dietrich, who then slid forward and rear-ended Elizabeth Meek. Dietrich injured, released at scene. Meek injured, transported to Mat-Su Regional. Seatbelts worn by all parties. Damage to Dietrich’s vehicle, $5,000. Damage to Henley’s vehicle, $2,500. Damage to Meek’s vehicle, $1,000. July 25, 7:30 p.m., Northshore Dr. and Deelon Rd.: Robert Vanbuskirk, 38, Big Lake, lost control of his vehicle causing it to roll several times. Vanbuskirk left the scene, but was located at his residence later. Transported to Mat-Su Regional for injuries. It is unknown if Vanbuskirk wearing a seatbelt. Vehicle, total loss. Cooper was in violation of her instructional permit by not having a licensed adult in the vehicle. Summonsed. July 24, 2:30 a.m., Tabasco Cat Dr.: Justyn Swanson, 19, Palmer, summonsed for DWLS after contacted as the driver of vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. Hwy.: A spool of copper wire valued at $6,000 was stolen from an ALMR Radio tower construction site between 4 p.m. July 22 and 7:30 a.m. July 23. July 23, 7:15 p.m., N. Earl St.: Entry was gained through the front door. Damage, $500. July 26, 1:40 p.m., S. Avalon Cir.: A 43-year-old Wasilla male reported between 11 p.m. on July 25 and 1:30 p.m. on July 26, someone stole a white 1977 Glastron Runabout boat, motor and a white homemade trailer with Alaska plate 8802RG. Total value, $400. July 26, 10 p.m., Hassen Bay Dr.: An estimated $50 in pain medication was stolen. July 27, 6:45 p.m., N. Fish Lake Rd., Sutton: An estimated $3,000 in household items and a 1989 Ford Bronco were stolen. WARRANT ARREST July 25, 4 a.m., Meadow Lakes Loop: Stephanie Debeaulieau, 22, Wasilla contacted during a suspicious incident investigation. Debeaulieau had outstanding warrants, one for FTA (failure to appear), original charge of NVOL (no valid operator license) and another for FTA, MICS (misconduct involving controlled substance) VI. Bail, $2,000. July 26, 10 p.m., Pioneer Peak Dr.: Christopher Sean Kelly, 32, Wasilla, arrested on a probation violation warrant. No bail. July 27, 6:57 p.m., Mile 55.2 Parks Hwy.: Robert L. McInelly Jr., 19, Houston, arrested on outstanding MCA warrant. Bail, $500. MICS July 26, 12:05 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Lucas Rd.: Amber T. Knowles,18, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Summons: possession of marijuana. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF July 27, 6:32 a.m., Holiday Station near Pittman Rd. on Parks Hwy.: A white male, between 16 and 21, drove a black go-kart into the front door. The male immediately exited the parking lot and drove down Meadow Lakes Loop. The male has straight blond hair and was wearing a camouflage jacket. Estimated damage, $1,000. MISUSE OF PLATES July 26, 11:28 p.m., Mile 48.5 Parks Hwy.: Paul C. Hosier, 20, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Hosier was allegedly operating the vehicle with an altered registration sticker on the plates. Summonsed and released. |
