Gin Blossoms bloom on Palmer’s stage

PALMER — When you’re young, famous and have a pocketful of dough, making the best decisions don’t always come natural. The Gin Blossoms know all to well what ego can do to a fine-oiled machine such as theirs was in the 1990s. Despite a nasty spit in 1997, the band regrouped and mended old wounds in 2002, hoping to pick up where they left off. It’s been a long road that guitarist Scott Johnson said keeps going.
