ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

BURGLARY

Aug. 26, 4:30 p.m., S. Willow Lane: Forced entry was made by prying open the front door. Damage, $50. Approximately $400 in household items were stolen.

Aug. 26, 6  p.m., W. Meadow-wood Dr.: Approximately $5,000 worth of items were stolen. 

Aug. 26, 3:15 p.m., W. Sun-ridge Cir.: Approximately $5,000 worth of items were stolen. 

Aug. 26, 11 a.m., W. Dew-berry: Approximately $2,000 worth of items were stolen.

Aug. 26, 7:45 p.m., N. Pittman Rd.: Forced entry was made into the residence and a separate garage by prying open two doors. Damage, $200. Nothing was taken. 

Aug. 26, 3 p.m., Sandy Nook Cir.: Unknown person(s) stole a blue 1982 Ford F150 pickup, Alaska plate 1344BK. 

Aug. 27, 8:15 p.m., Parks Hwy. at Financial Dr.: Fairbanks DUI Enforcement Troopers stopped a brown 1983 Chevrolet Suburban pulling a large utility trailer on the Parks Highway at Financial Drive in Wasilla for an equipment violation. David Robert Shuldham Jr., 36, Palmer, a passenger in the Suburban, had allegedly just stolen the trailer from a nearby business and was in the process of selling the trailer to the operator. Shuldham was also allegedly in possession of a small amount of cocaine and some prescription medications not prescribed to him. Shuldham arrested for theft II, MICS (misconduct involving a controlled substance) IV and two counts of MICS V. Bail, $5,000. The trailer, valued at $1,300 and the building materials on the trailer, valued at $600, were returned to the owner.

Aug. 25, 2:30 p.m., W. Beverly Lakes Rd.: Unknown suspect(s) entered through an unlocked door between 8 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Jewelry, electronics, frozen food and a firearm were stolen. Estimated value, $2,500.

Aug. 27, 3:25 p.m., Johnson Rd.: Unknown suspect(s) entered through the back door and stole numerous electronics and electronic accessories. Estimated value, $4,500.

Aug. 26, 3:40 p.m., Rojon Cir.: Unknown suspect(s) forced entry and rummaged through the residence. Front door damage, $200. No items reported missing. 

MIW

Aug. 27, 5:04 p.m., Mayflower Lane.: Eric J. Brinegar, 39, Wasilla, was contacted during a welfare check. Brinegar was allegedly intoxicated and shooting his firearm in his residence and also shot a round into the upstairs apartment. Charge, MIW II. Bail, $1,000.

WARRANT ARREST

Aug. 27, 10:04 a.m., Rainbow St.: Joseph E. Link, 20, Wasilla, contacted during a disturbance report. Link had two outstanding arrest warrants; one for FTA (failure to appear), original charge of a driving violation and the second for alcohol importation. Link allegedly provided a false name. Bail, $1,100.

DWLCSR

Aug. 27, 8:07 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and North 49th State St.: Dusten Kirker, 18,

Palmer, was contacted for suspicious activity. Summons: DWLS (driving while license suspended).

Aug. 27, 11:55 p.m., Bogard Rd. and Main St.: Kerry L. Sayles, 39, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Summons: DWLS. Bail, $1,500.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF      

Aug. 22, 11:10 a.m., Tweed Court: Troopers investigated malicious damage to several vehicles. Suspects kicked and shattered the vehicles’ windshields sometime between 12:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.. Total damage was $600.

PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT

DUI

Aug. 25: Tyler C. Mahoney, 23, Fort Richardson, stopped for equipment violation. Charge: DUI (driving under the influence). Bail, $2,500.

THEFT

Aug. 25, State Fair, yellow parking lot: A 39-year-old Wasilla man reported an unknown person(s) broke into his vehicle and stole $600 in cash and coin.
