" Ref the Sept 26 accident at Smith/Glenn involving the 16 yr old driver. My 17 yr old son told me that when his friend went in to get his license, he missed most of the points AND WAS STILL ABLE TO GET HIS LICENSE. Is this possible? Most of my son's friends have very little actual driving experience and are getting their licenses as winter approaches. Years ago, kids getting their licenses was not as big a deal. But as the Valley grows from rural to urban, I really think teenage drivers should be re-evaluated. "
