VEHICLE THEFT
Oct. 3, 3:47 a.m.: A 17-year-old Wasilla girl called to say her car had been stolen. Troopers found the car at about the same time on North Star Circle after it had run from them. The driver got away.
THEFT/SHOPLIFTING
Oct. 1, 8:14 a.m.: Police investigated a break-in at the Wasilla Auto Mall. A lock on a gate was cut and three cars were entered. A CD player was stolen.
Oct. 6, 2:34 p.m.: A 16-year-old boy reported his $138 skateboard stolen from the area of Wal-Mart sometime around Sept. 27.
Oct. 3, 3:33 p.m., Naomi St. and Seward-Meridian Pkwy.: Robert Noe, 54, Wasilla, reported his orange 1988 Suzuki four-wheeler taken from his home.
Oct. 4, 11 p.m.: Police responded to Grandview Inn where a $1,000 Gucci watch was reported stolen from one of the rooms.
Oct. 5, 5:46 p.m.: Sportsman’s Warehouse reported a juvenile shoplifter in custody, allegedly having stolen more than $10 in merchandise. The juvenile was released to an adult. Charges will be sent to Juvenile Justice.
Oct. 8, 9:30 a.m.: A used shower stall was stolen from a fenced backyard the previous evening. The stall had been removed from a home during a remodel. When new, the stall was worth $200.
OVERDUE RENTAL CAR
Oct. 3, 8:19 a.m.: Classy Car Rentals reported Mary Wiehl, 25, Fairbanks, had not returned a car when it was due.

Oct. 3, 3:39 p.m.: Roger Brown, 46, Wasilla, stopped on Kenai Supply Rd. and Financial Drive. Summons: DWLS.
Oct. 4, 12:59 a.m.: Robert Pacillas Jr., 28, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLR.
Oct. 5, 12:25 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Jeremiah Thrift stopped for driving without headlights. Summons: NVOL.
ARREST WARRANT
Oct. 3, 10:24 p.m.: Chad Wylie, 28, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court. Bail: $1,000.
RUNAWAY
Oct. 7, 3:04 p.m.,: The Dorothy Saxton Youth Shelter reported a 15-year-old boy staying at the shelter had fled after arriving at Palmer Middle School that morning.
MICS
Oct. 9, 12:34 a.m.: Police responding to an alarm at the Great Bear Brewing Co. found that two employees had tripped the alarm and were waiting for their car to warm up and smoking marijuana. Mackensey Cassidy, 23, Wasilla and Jackson E. Hume, 24, Wasilla, were issued summonses for MICS VI.

Sept. 29: A man reported his 15- and 17-year-old sons had run away from home.
VIOLATING A PROTECTIVE ORDER
Sept. 29: Police arrested a 52-year-old Palmer man. Charge: Violating a domestic violence protective order. No bail set.
RECKLESS DRIVING
Sept. 30: Police responding to a report of reckless driving stopped Jamison K. Rothwell, 24, Sutton. Summons: reckless driving.
MCA
Sept. 30: Aislinn D. Rabon, 18, Palmer, issued a summons for underage drinking.
DUI, DWLS
Oct. 1: Lori L. Philllips, 34, California, stopped after a report of reckless driving. Charges: DUI, DWLS. Bail: $2,000.
DWLS, FALSE REPORT
Oct. 1: Mark E. Metcalf, 40, Wasilla, stopped for seatbelt violation. He was arrested for DWLS. Bail: $2,500. His passenger, Kris T. Dunphy, was arrested for making a false report. Bail: $2,500.
ARREST WARRANT
Oct. 1: Stacy M. Cope, 45, Palmer, arrested on warrant to serve jail time on a DUI charge.
Oct. 1: Kristen Irene Socarras, 20, of Anchorage, arrested at an unrelated disturbance on Anchorage warrant for domestic violence assault. No bail set.
DWLS
Oct. 1, Timothy Blaine Olson, 44, Palmer, was stopped because his passenger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Summons: DWLS.
DUI, REFUSAL
Oct. 2: Dustin Cook, 27, Wasilla, stopped after being reported as an impaired driver. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test. Bail: $5,000.
ASSAULT, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Oct. 2: Police arrested a 23-year-old Wasilla man. Charges: domestic violence assault II and III, MICS IV and domestic violence criminal mischief IV.
MVC
Oct. 1, Glenn Hwy. and Evergreen Ave.: Samantha Nicjoela May, 20, Palmer, and Thomas Blake Showalter, 28, Wasilla, were driving vehicles involved in a crash. May was cited for not exercising due care. Showalter was cited for lacking an energy absorption device and proof of insurance.

Oct. 2: Leland Joseph Stahl, 57, Wasilla, arrested after a tip. Charge: DUI. Bail: $2,500.
MCA
Oct. 3: Paige L. Green, 19, Palmer, summonsed for minor consuming alcohol.
MICS
Oct. 2: Police seized marijuana in the possession of a teenager at Palmer High School. Charges are being forwarded to Juvenile Justice.
THEFT
Oct. 3: Julia Marie Fine, 38, arrested for allegedly shoplifting a bottle of alcohol from Oaken Keg. Bail: $250.
RUNAWAY
Oct. 3: A 14-year-old boy was reported to have run away from a home in Palmer.
THEFT
Oct. 3: A $400 X-box 360 was reported stolen from a home in Palmer on Oct. 1.
ARREST WARRANT
Oct. 3: Kristopher L. Pullen, 18, arrested on warrant for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing on minor consuming alcohol charge.

Oct. 4: Elizabeth M. Kershner, 21, Palmer, pulled over for a traffic violation. Summons: DWLS.
DWLR, RESISTING ARREST
Oct. 4: Rory E. Vail, 19, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: DWLR, making a false report and resisting arrest. Bail: $2,500.
DUI, REFUSAL
Oct. 4: Henry Fischner Jr., 64, Palmer, stopped after reportedly trying to drive away from a local bar. Charges: DUI, refusing to submit to a chemical test. Bail: $1,000.
ASSAULT
Oct. 5: An 18-year-old Palmer man jailed without bail for domestic violence assault IV.
DUI, DWLR
Oct. 5: Samuel Horner, 34, Shugnak, stopped after a report of suspicious vehicle. Charge: felony DUI, DWLR. Bail: $10,000.
SHOPLIFTING
Oct. 5: Carrs reported a 15-year-old boy in custody for shoplifting. A theft charge will be sent to Juvenile Justice.
HARASSMENT
Oct. 5: Raymond Lee Rossiter, 58, Big Lake, contacted for continuing to call a local home after being told by the resident and police to stop. A harassment charge will be sent to the District Attorney.
