I did get an interview with her, Todd and Piper (look for it in Sunday's edition) and she said it was good to see someone else from Alaska.
The conversation we had while sitting in the back of the Straight Talk Express went just like it would have if I'd run into her at Walmart. Palin didn't push politics, and she seemed as comfortable as she would be in her living room in Wasilla.

Not only does she have a gaggle of advisers throwing suggestions at her, a traveling press corp watching and scrutinizing her every move, but she also has to keep up her energetic speeches at rallies day after day.
In the 15 hours I spent with Palin on the campaign trail, we stoped in five small Pennsylvania towns, visited a tool and dye shop and an apple orchard, and drove down long, windy country roads to the every destination.
The Secret Service keeps a close eye on everything, and the campaign's press handlers make sure to always set up the best possible shot.
Seeing the candidates on television, no matter who you're rooting for, doesn't do justice to the insane schedule they keep while trying to earn votes.
Watching Palin talk to locals of the small towns we stopped in it's easy to see why people like her. Politics aside, people seemed genuinley smitten with her personality.
Even though most everyone in the country knows who she is now, she still humbly introduces herself like this: "HI, I'm Sarah Palin."
The last I saw of the Palin family they were sitting in their campaign plane on the tarmac of the Harrisburg (Penn.) International Airport, ready to fly to Florida for yet another set of rallies.
The governor will be back in Alaska early Tuesday morning to cast her vote at Wasilla City Hall. Then it's a waiting game, for her and everyone else in the country, to see who our next leader is.
Make sure to go out and vote, for whoever you want, Nov. 4.

Even David Brooks (conservative columnist) noted: conservatives' "disdain for liberal intellectuals" has slipped into
"disdain for the educated class as a whole," and worries that the Republican Party is alienating educated voters. Simpletons like Bush and Palin back Brooks' point. "

If you are from Indiana--by your nom-de-email--how proud were you to give us your Hoosier laughing-stock Quayle? He actually now seems like an Einstein compared to Palin, and I can't believe I'm
realizing it.
And yes, we are ALL hoping for Palin to make a run for it in 2012. Her own party will turn on her--again, as in NOW--- and tear her a new pipeline and campaign-to-nowhere.
Run Sarah Run! We'll have ya right where we want ya! "

Next time I see a self-aggrandizing, no-talent try to co-headline the Republican ticket, I am going to register as an Independent and kiss this party goodbye.
This election was nothing by utter chaos and nonsense on the Republican side of things--and I know I'm too good for that. "

Honey, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but have you lost your marbles?
According to McCain's staff--Palin didn't even know Africa is a continent. HELLO?
You want to talk about double-digit IQ's--try testing Palin's.
Obviously, tens of millions of smart and informed people voted against Palin because they knew she wasn't qualified or deserving. The only fear they may have felt was--that stupid people might outnumber them and vote for her.
Pathetically, just about anyone is smart-- next to Sarah Palin. Apparently, it doesn't take much. "

Palin will be remembered as the candidate who did not stop or correct the rabblerousers she stirred up, who chanted that Obama was a terrorist, that he should be killed, etc. This is behavior she exhibited previously, apparently, in Alaska on a radio show.
God forbid anything should ever happen to the Obama family--I pray for them. But if something ever did, Palin will have to live with the fact that she inspired hatred during campaigning, against President-elect Obama. "

So the fact that Palin was elected Gov just amazes me even more--were you folks dazzled by her BS? AND WTH are you thinking NOW by re-electing convicted felon Uncle Ted back to the Senate?
In the eyes of the rest of this country the
voters of Alaska are not being perceived
in such a good 'northern' light. You got your bear-quarter this year, enjoy it.

This November day she was shootin for the stars,
When up jumped the votes and sent her back to Mars--
Alaska that is--bridge to nowhere, thrift shops
Well the first thing y'know she's now back up home,
Free once again to shoot the wolves and moose who roam
And those who voted her can now only delve

It is merciful that Palin didn't make the cut for Washington because she would have been chewed up and spit out lickety-split. DC has the highest educated populace in the country and frankly, Sarah and her cute little Bachelor's degree from Nowhere would have made her the biggest laughingstock in town.
She's lucky she failed. "

What these pollsters have been doing is computing running averages over a number of days. Friday was a spectacular day for McCain pulling him out front of Obama.
The McCain-Palin team will be out today (Saturday), Sunday and Monday going all out !!!!
As the dawn approaches Tuesday November 4th, it is highly likely that John McCain will be opening the margin of Victory in the Key States needed to win the Electoral College votes. "
