Admires Palin

I had to write this letter to tell the people of Alaska how fortunate they are to have Sarah Palin as their governor.

As I watched Governor Palin through the whole campaign process, I couldn’t help but admire the grace with which she conducted herself throughout the media onslaught. This is a woman who truly loves this country and the freedoms it affords all people. This is a woman who believes government needs to get out of the way and let the people pursue life, liberty and happiness. She knows it’s not the government’s right to redistribute hard-working people’s money. She is one of us and that is what the mainstream media and the Washington, D.C., elite could never understand.

Alaska, be very proud of your governor because many of us mainstream Americans are proud of her and pray that she continues standing up for our country, our beliefs and our freedoms, and that she remains active in politics, as we need more like her.

" There's nothing to admire. Politics is always smarmy, however, she brought it to an all-time low - grammar and intellect-wise. She didn't have a substantive position on anything other than a lame attempt at defining energy policy - which was - build a pipeline from Alaska and decrease foreign oil dependency by about 3 or 4% (we import almost 70%). WOW!

Uttering the term MAVEEERICK doesn't constitute a policy or a stance on issues. And saying you see Russia doesn't show a grasp for international issues.

    KEEP HER ALASKA, PLEASE! "

" I have to agree with the person above. I think she was a plus to the McCain group. They would of made a good team working together to make this a better place. People need to support there selves and there family not sit at home doing nothing and wait for that check that has been promised from redistribution of funds. I was brought up to take care of yourself not have your hand out waiting for a hand out. If she want s to do this again I will be behind her. "

" Gov. Palin ran a disciplined, high-minded, and enlightened campaign. She displayed her domestic and foreign policy credentials brilliantly. Hard to imagine why so many intellectual conservative elites decided to back Obama. Palin and Joe "the plumber" in 2012. Now if only Africa would establish an embassy in Alaska...surely they can see Russia from there. "

" She was a lot of fun....BUT I've been a Republican all my life...retired ..I was asked about 6 times by e-mail to contribute to the RNC..the Associated Press claims Gov Palin spent $4,902 at the Atelier Mens store....if true...this Violates a Federal ban on the use of campaign funds for personal expenses, such as clothing. On my limited income - No More - No More - No More. "

" Ditto on your letter..........Unfortunately, we, as a country, needed Gov. Palin 20 years ago. Timing is everything, and you can be certain that GOD has a time and a place for Sarah Palin, in the destiny of America !!!!! "

" Thank you Alaska for sharing your values and American spirit with the lower 48 through your Gov. Palin, Thank you. Gov Palin brought honesty, values and her wisdom, some might not understand how she droves cwowds of thousands to her rallies, how she inspired a grassroot movement that will really shake up America in 2012. So thank you Alaska for sharing a wonderful part of Alaska. "

" Sarah Palin is an amazing woman. I hope you Alaskans realize how blessed you are to have such a radiant, courageous and resilent woman to represent your state. I live in Georgia, and everyone down here voted for McCain just because she was on the ticket. We are all hooked on Sarah! By the way, I was a Hillary Clinton Democrat, but I am now a proud Palin Republican! "

" It has been interesting observing your election. Certainly, Alaskans can be proud of Ms Palin for at least stepping up to the challenge. Yet the rest of the world did not and still does not see her as anywhere near able to be deputy leader of your country. Basically she is a very insular and ignorant woman. Many outside your country see Bush and Palin in the same light.
I hope the US can heal from the Bush years. Sadly a once great country is seen a backward and ignorant due to Bush and his policies. Good luck "

" I'm totally in. Sarah Palin is the greatest candidate I've seen since Ronald Reagan. She is amazing. I saw her at two rallies here in Richmond and she just blew me away. I can't describe what I felt when Sarah told us that we could again be that shining city on a hill. I get chills just remembering that part of the speech as I write this. "

" This letter captures what was on my own heart this morning, saying it much more eloquently than I ever could. Sarah Palin is the one bright spot that emerged in this election; she and her family are welcome in Texas any day! Be proud of her, Alaska! "
