Why so much hate?

Published on Saturday, November 8, 2008 10:20 PM AKST

Why does the far left fear Sarah Palin so much that they keep attacking her in her hometown paper? I was very upset with attack dogs coming in from everywhere in the Lower 48 and using your Web site as a format to attack our governor with nothing but pure hate.

What are the odds of someone just stumbling on this site without being directed here who isn't Alaskan? This low level of attacks will backfire on you guys. Hate crimes have begun throughout the lower 48 where Palin spread her hate. " I understand why they hate Gov. Palin. It's actually pretty simple, pretty ugly. People who hate on the left and right do it out of fear and ignorance. The other element is lack of values/moral compass. Most americans do not live in small communities. I live in florida in a small democrat county, about 4 to 1. The last three elections 2000,2004,2008 were republican landslides with 75,85,and aprox. 75%. You can't say it's racism, because of the numbers in the other elections. What you can and should say is it's about values. Small town America has them. "

Governor Palin deserves respect because she is one of our fellow citizens and because she willingly serves the citizens of Alaska. Have any of you done the same? I voted for McCain/Palin and I accept defeat in humility. Barack Obama is my president-elect because he won. Can’t you be just as gracious in victory as many of us who in humility must accept our defeat or is there nothing in your hearts but vitriolic anger, rage and hate? Thanks Governor Palin! "

There is no time to lose; just because the candidates are not yet declared doesn't mean we can't start fighting immediately. The next opportunity we have to send the liberalcrats a strong message will be in the next major election cycle, so start campaigning for the party of right-eousness now rather than later. She put people in State jobs with questionable qualifications...I could go on forever. So please list her "good deeds" that weren't self serving. "

Better to worry about how the Republican Party can be reconstituted than wasting everyone's time with a complete light weight like Sarah Palin.

She must have an intellectual willingness of government maintaining separation from church as we are a diverse nation. To show the rasicm and bigotry while during her campaign rallies is unexceptable .She displayed too much of her own personal values over the ability or willingness of consideration to others and appears to be far to the right on her conservative beliefs. She lacks the true qualities of leadership in a free nation. "
