" Alaska has one of the toughest drinking&driving laws in the nation. Your first offense will cost you $5,000.00 or more. Your third offense within a five year period is an automatic felony. NO other state does that. You need to read up on our laws BEFORE trying to tell us they are too lenient. Alaska has less drinking related fatalities in a year than most states on a single holiday weekend. We average less than 10 a year, with arrests more than 4,000 a year. Can any other state make that claim? NO! GO HOME! LEAVE OUR PFD FOR US!!!!!!!!! "

" I think pot should be illegal, it affects your driving just like alcohol, and I can guarantee if I were to get into an accident with someone who was high or drunk, the outcome would not be good. I have 2 babies I drive with, and people who get high and drive, or drink and drive should have worse penalties!! Alaska is way to lenient!
    Think about it!
How would you feel if your children were killed by a drunk driver, or someone who was high? "

" It seams really funny to me why the state trys so hard to ticket people for pot.If it were legal the state could profit from 10's of millions of dollors and save a lot time and money to the cort system Trying to make a big deal out of it ther you go. . . . . . . . . . . "
