Nov. 15, 12:22 a.m., Big Lake Rd. and Beaver Lake Rd.; Max A. McLinn, 46, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: DUI, DWLR. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 16, 3:06 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Trunk Rd.: Kathereen G. Coleman, 51, Anchorage, stopped for a traffic violation driving a 1993 Ford Aerostar. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test. Bail: $500.

Nov. 16, 1:50 a.m., Mile 34 Glenn Hwy.: Flemmon O. Cochran, 39, Anchorage, stopped for an equipment violation, arrested for DUI, DWLS and on warrant for failure to appear in court on DUI charge. Bail: $11,500.

Nov. 16, 1:12 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Cottle Lp.: Jacob C. Peck, 26, Minnesota, stopped driving a 2003 Cadillac for running a stop sign. Charges: DUI, DWLR. Bail: $2,500.

Nov. 16, 6:44 p.m., Pittman Rd. and Parks Hwy.: David Locke, 46, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: Felony DUI, felony refusing a chemical test, DWLR. Bail: $10,000.

MVC

Nov. 15, 8:05 a.m., N. 49th State St. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Kendra D. Pepperd, 54, Wasilla, southbound driving a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta when she allegedly failed to yield to a northbound tan 2002 Lincoln Town Car driven by Marilyn J. Grasser, 76, Palmer. No injuries. Damage minor.

Nov. 15, 2:07 p.m., Bendapole Rd. and Passthebait Rd.: Christopher Sweeney, 44, Willow, driving a 1997 GMC Sierra when he hit a 2002 Jeep Cherokee driven by Waylon Shandley, 34, Anchorage. No injuries. Sweeny ticketed as at-fault driver and summonsed for DWLR. Damage to the Jeep: $4,000. Damage to the GMC: $3,500.

Nov. 16, 11:20 a.m., Hyer Rd.: A 17-year-old Palmer girl lost control of her silver 2003 Dodge Neon and slid off the road into a concrete culvert. No injuries. The Neon was totaled.

Nov. 13, 3:10 p.m., Mile 50 Parks Hwy.: Neal S. Vannoy, 57, Big Lake, lost control of his white 1995 Ford F-150 and slid into the ditch. Vannoy was taken from the scene in an ambulance. The Ford was totaled.

Nov. 16, 5:25 p.m., Mile 38 Glenn Hwy.: Tracy Hazen, 39, northbound driving a 2007 Ford Edge when she swerved into the southbound lane and hit a 1992 Dodge 3500 pickup driven by Timothy Shoemaker Jr., 20, Wasilla. Shoemaker and a passenger were taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in stable condition. Both vehicles were totaled.

Nov. 15, 4 a.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy. and Wickersham Way: Abel A. Guerrero, 27, Anchorage, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DWLS. Bail: $1,500. Passenger Jolene L. Morales, 25, Anchorage, summonsed for allowing Guerrero to drive.

Nov. 15, 1:22 a.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: Curtis M. Commack, 26, Anchorage, arrested at a traffic stop on Anchorage warrant for driving without insurance. Bail: $500.

Nov. 15, 5:34 p.m., Grizzly Bear Cir.: Cynthia Ramirez, 21, Wasilla, arrested on two $10,000 warrants with original charges of fourth-degree drug misconduct and hindering prosecution.

Nov. 14, 10:48 p.m., Old Glenn Hwy. Knik River access: Melody M. Jette, 18, Anchorage, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on underage drinking charge. Bail: $500.

Nov. 16, 2:29 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Seaward-Meridian Meridian Pkwy.: Sara G. Ashley, 47, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant for failure to appear in court on leaving the scene of an accident charge. Bail: $250.

Nov. 15, Big Lake: John R. Strode, 24, Big Lake, arrested on two no-bail warrants during a wildlife investigation.

THEFT

Nov. 15, 1:59 p.m., Benedict Way: Thieves kicked in the door of a cabin and stole power tools, electronics and cans of gasoline for a total loss of $450. Damage to the cabin: $400.

Nov. 15, 10:19 a.m., Highland Cir.: Troopers received report that a snowmachine trailer was parked at the end of the road and found it had been taken from a home on Goldpan Dr. sometime in the previous two days.

Nov. 16, 12:29 p.m., Birch Dr.: Burglars pried open the front window of a cabin and stole a telescope and small amounts of over-the-counter medications. Two sheds were also broken into. inand tools were stolen. Total loss: $1,300. Damage: $530.

FISHING VIOLATION

Nov. 14, Big Lake: Nickolas Strode, 27, Big Lake, John Strode, 24, Big Lake and Seth Rogers, 18, Willow, summonsed for violations after a report of unattended ice fishing gear on the lake. The gear had taken four burbot – double the bag limit.

MVC

Nov. 10, Palmer High School parking lot: A Dodge Durango backed into a Chevrolet Aveo when a small child put the vehicle into gear. Damage to both vehicles: $1,500.

DWLSCR

Nov. 10: Jay Burkhart, 51, Palmer, summonsed at a traffic stop for DWLS.

Nov. 13: Nina Mae Wilson, 45, Palmer arrested for DWLR. Bail: $500.

Nov. 13, Glenn Hwy. near Parks Hwy.: Scott Earl Payne, 18, Eagle River, stopped after he made a sudden stop on the highway, causing the truck behind him to drive onto the shoulder. Summons: DWLS.

Nov. 10: A 14-year-old girl gone from home for two days was located and returned to her mother.

Nov. 11: A 57-year-old man reported his 15-year-old son did not return home from school.

Nov. 12, Outer Springer Lp.: Lois Liebing, 42, Palmer, hit a yearling moose driving her 2003 Volkswagen four-door.

Nov. 12, Denali St. and Dogwood Ave.: Joshua Wolfe, 27, Anchorage, and David Pipkin, 58, Palmer, were in a wreck. Combined damage: $3,000. No injuries. Wolfe cited for not yielding.

VIOLATING RELEASE CONDITIONS

Nov. 11: Christine George, 33, Palmer, arrested after she was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. Charge: Violating release conditions. Bail: $500.

THEFT

Nov. 11: A 42-year-old Palmer man reported his bicycle stolen from his home.

Nov. 13: Ryan S. Burkhart, 25, charged with forgery, fraud and theft. Bail: $15,000.

WARRANTS

Nov. 11: Derek F. Burkett, 18, Palmer, arrested on $250 warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on NVOL charge.

Nov. 11, Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility parking lot: Cory J. Sandiford, 29, Palmer, arrested for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge. Bail: $500.

Nov. 13: Shannon Lee Bodo, 37, Palmer, arrested on warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on DWLS charge and the new charge of providing false information. Bail: $1,500.

Nov. 13: Susan E. Henry, 39, Palmer, arrested at home on two warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of DWLS and making a false report. Bail: $1,500.

Nov. 15: Nicholaus Gerald Brunzel, 24, Wasilla, arrested on two no bail warrants – one for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge, the other for failure to report to jail on DUI charge.

DRUG MISCONDUCT

Nov. 11, Headquarters: Dessiree E. Tait, 23, Anchorage, arrested for fourth-degree drug misconduct during a disturbance in the police department’s parking lot. Bail: $2.000.

Nov. 14, Palmer High School: Police arrested a juvenile for marijuana possession.

DUI

Nov. 12: Randy Phillip Hoeldt, 52, Palmer, arrested for DUI and DWLR. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 13: Brandon W. Niles, 30, Sutton, found passed out in a running vehicle in the lot behind Palmer Bar. Charge: DUI. Bail: $2,500.

Nov. 14: Timothy C. Scheuner, 42, Palmer, stopped on a citizen’s complaint of an impaired driver. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Nov. 16: Evan James Lovett, 18, found in his driveway after a complaint of reckless driving. Summons: Underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Citations: Running a stop sign, open container.

Nov. 18: Amanda Marie Portney, 20, Palmer, and Gina Lynn Best, 20, Palmer, summonsed for underage drinking after a report of a loud party.

    " I think we all know now that Cynthia Ramirez will never learn. I grew up with her and love her like a sister, but she needs some tough love, and she got it. Let this be a lesson in life for you girl. "
