Lee F. Rose

Wasilla resident Lee F. Rose, 51, died Nov. 15 of a heart attack at a residence in Wasilla.

Mr. Rose was born June 25, 1957, in Oklahoma to John and Elizabeth Rose. 

He was self-employed.


He loved camping, fishing, shooting pool, being with his wolves and being with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Rose; brother, Ty Matthews; and wife Gi Gi Rose. Survivors are his son, Tyrone J. Rose of Wasilla; daughter, Elizabeth A. Rose of Hiawatha, KS; mother, Stella Coble of Clearwater, Kansas; brothers, Al Mathews of Wasilla, Brad Harris of Humboldt, Neb., and Ronnie Harris of Haysville, Kansas; sisters, Lisa Kraft of Clearwater, Kansas and Linda Stone; daughter-In-law, Claudia M. Rose of Wasilla; and grandson, Logan A. Rose of Hiawatha, Kansas.

A memorial will be held at Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory, 1015 S. Check Street, Wasilla, at 1 p.m. Saturday. A visitation will be held at noon prior to the service.

His cremated remains will be interred at the White Cloud Family Cemetery in White Cloud, Kansas.

A potluck dinner will be held at the American Legion Post 35
