Kenneth E. Fitzgerald

Kenneth “Kenny” E. Fitzgerald, died Oct. 18 at Tucson, Arizona Medical Center. He was born Nov. 8, 1945 in Mancos, Colo. He has his wife split time between there home here and in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.

His family wrote, “Kenny has gone off fishing without us and is in heaven telling his stories now. He left us after a long battle with cancer.”

He was a longtime Valley resident, a member of the IBEW and worked summers for Matanuska Telephone Association. He loved hunting, fishing and telling stories.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, JoAnne and his adult children, Duston, Wendy and Candy, and his many friends and family.

A large celebration of life will be held in July in Mancos, Colo.
