Nov. 21, 2:18 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Nye Ford: Michael W. Finch, 35, Anchorage, driving a black 1996 Chrysler two-door sedan, was allegedly found in possession of drugs and a handgun. Charges: drug misconduct, felon in possession of weapons. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 21, 10:45 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Stanley Rd.: Gary L.L. Seltenreich, 23, Wasilla, allegedly found at a traffic stop in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Summons: drug misconduct VI.

Nov. 21, 2:30 a.m., Crazy Pearson’s Dr.: Caitlyn B. Gawley, 22, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance on a no-bail warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge.

Nov. 21, 4 p.m., Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility: William Solomon II, 34, Anchorage, re-arrested on Anchorage warrant for six counts of theft. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 21, 9:10 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Hyer Rd.: Maria Cramer, 35, Palmer, westbound, was stopped at the intersection in a gray 2007 GMC Denali when Kaylee Hoff, 23, Wasilla, rear-ended her driving a white 1996 Toyota four-door car. No injuries. Damage to the GMC: $1,500. Damage to the Toyota: $3,000. Hoff cited for speeding.

Nov. 21, 12:47 p.m., Mile 71.5 Parks Hwy.: David Stewart, 52, North Pole, southbound driving a 1998 Dodge pickup pulling a trailer when he lost control on the ice, left the road and jackknifed. The Dodge was totaled. Damage to the trailer: $1,500. No injuries.

Nov. 22, 8:58 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Meadow Lakes Lp.: Daniel Klamer, 42, Anchorage, northbound driving a 1992 Ford F250 when a 1999 GMC Sierra driven by a 16-year-old Wasilla boy pulled out in front of him. Both drivers were injured. The teen was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center and ticketed for not yielding.

Nov. 22, 7:22 p.m., Fairview Lp. and Davis Rd.:  John Glass, 65, Wasilla, eastbound driving his 2003 Honda CRV when a 1994 Fort Escort sedan driven by Austin Nail, 19, Wasilla, stooped abruptly in front of Glass to make a turn. Glass couldn’t stop on the ice and swerved around the Ford into the ditch, rolling once. Damage to the Honda; $5,000. Nail cited for not using his turn signal.

Nov. 22, 7:51 p.m., Mile 1 Trunk Rd.: Andrew J. Lopez, 21, Anchorage, southbound driving a 2008 Subaru when he lost control, went over the embankment and rolled. No injuries. Damage: $2,000.

Nov. 23, 12:39 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Arabian Ln.: Heidiann Gaffney, 42, Wasilla, eastbound in a black 2000 Ford Windstar when Sarah Hill, 24, Palmer, crossed the centerline driving a green 1999 Chevrolet Tracker. No injuries. Damages: $3,500 to the Ford, $2,500 to the Chevrolet. Hill ticketed for speeding and lacking proof of insurance.

Nov. 23, 9:51 p.m., Tait Rd. and Bogard Rd.: Christopher Blankenship, 34, Wasilla, southbound driving a blue 1997 Honda CRV when he was unable to stop and slid through a stop sign, hitting a westbound 1994 Toyota Tercel driven by Agatha Stewart, 71, Wasilla. Stewart was hospitalized with minor injuries. Blankenship was unhurt. The Toyota was totaled. The CRV had $3,000 damage. Blankenship was cited for speeding.

Nov. 23, 7:32 p.m., Church Rd. and Schrock Rd.: Brent Jennison, 63, Willow, northbound driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup when he slid through the intersection into an electric pole. Damage to the pickup: $4,000. Damage to the pole: $10,000. Jennison had minor injuries. A passenger in the pickup went to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Jennison cited for speeding.

Nov. 24, 10:11 p.m., Parks Hwy. at Hyer Rd.: Sterling Nielson, 18, Palmer, was southbound when he lost control of his 2005 Chevrolet pickup and hit the guardrail. Nielson had minor injuries. Damage to pickup: $4,000.

Nov. 25, 7:49 a.m., Big Lake Rd.: Dori Mcghan, 30, Big Lake, was southbound driving a 1996 Mercury Sable when she hit a moose, knocking it into the northbound lane where William Hashbarger, 25, Big Lake, hit it driving a 1995 Jeep Wrangler, causing the moose to roll onto his roof. Both drivers were unhurt. The Jeep was totaled. The Sable had $2,000 damage. The moose was donated to charity. 

Nov. 25, 5:26 p.m., Seldon Rd. at Old Squal Lp.: Grace Fetta, 55, Big Lake, driving a 2004 Suzuki sedan, made a left in front of a westbound 2002 Hyundai sedan driven by Princess Gallardo-Torres, 41, Wasilla. No injuries. Damage to each car: $2,000. Fetta cited for not yielding.

Nov. 25, 4:53 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Trunk Rd.: Abigail Comstack, 18, Palmer, westbound driving a 1999 Dodge Dakota, passing vehicles on the right as they stopped to turn, hit a 2004 Chevrolet pickup driven by James Mayo, 51, Wasilla, as Mayo made a left turn. No injuries. Damage to each vehicle: $5,000.

THEFT

Nov. 21, 2:45 p.m., Blue Lupine Dr.: Someone entered a business during the previous evening and stole $240 cash from a safe.

Nov. 22, 9:30 p.m., Tote Dr.: Someone entered a home and stole about $3,000 in household items.

Nov. 23, 4:20 p.m., Leprechaun Dr.: A $700 Honda generator was stolen from a home under construction.

Nov. 23, 2:50 a.m., Green Forest Dr.: At about 2:48 a.m., someone entered an occupied home and stole two purses. Loss: $1,500.

Nov. 23, 1:03 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Shoreline Dr.: Someone entered a pickup parked at a business and stole a laptop, backpack, and duffel bag full of clothing. Loss: $1,560.

Nov. 25, 4:33 p.m., Cherry Cir.: Someone entered a home and stole some electronics.

Nov. 25, 9 p.m., Rainbow Dr.: someone entered a home and stole $4,000 in household items.

Nov. 25, 9:45 p.m., Destin Dr.: Someone entered a home and stole several firearms.

Nov. 21, 8:24 p.m., Pizza Hut parking lot: Holly Beach, 46, stopped after a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $10,000.

Nov. 22, 12:36 p.m., Mile 52 Parks Hwy.: Travis M. Jones, 30, Big Lake, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 22, 3:50 a.m., Bogard Rd. and Seldon Rd.: Kammi L. Gilbert, 18, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation driving a white 1998 Dodge pickup. Charges: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking, driving on an instructional permit. Passenger Phillip E. Nielsen, 19, Anchorage, summonsed for underage drinking.

Nov. 23, 4:35 a.m., Bogard Rd. and Seward Meridian Pkwy.: Edwin L. Busby, 24, Wasilla, stopped driving a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu for speeding. Charge: DUI. Bail: $250.

Nov. 23, 3:39 a.m., Mile 4 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Brian D. Kuehn, 37, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $250.

Nov. 22, 11:40 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Weber St.: Pavel Usoltseff, 19, Wasilla, stopped for erratic driving. He also had an outstanding warrant. Charges: DUI, minor driving after drinking, underage drinking, DWLR. Bail: $15,000.

Nov. 24, 5:42 p.m., Trunk Rd. near Pioneer Peak Elementary: Vera Douglas, 26, Houston, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $5,000.

Nov. 25, 4:02 a.m., Mile 12 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Michael Scott Phillips arrested by troopers called to a disturbance. Charges: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $500.

Nov. 21, 11:33 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Old Towne Dr.: Samuel F. York, 18, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation driving a 1997 Chevrolet sedan. Summonses: Underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Passenger Samantha N. Harris, 19, Wasilla, summonsed for underage drinking.

Nov. 21, 11:46 p.m., Wasilla: Samuel R. McLeod, 72, was found to have died at home of natural causes.

Nov. 24, 3 a.m., Commodore Dr.: Opal Baird, 81, Wasilla, was found to have died of natural causes.

Nov. 24, 8:49 p.m., Intuition Dr.: Joanne Houseworth, 63, was found to have died at home of natural causes.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Nov. 24, 4:05 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Crusey St.: Shaun J. Cardenas stopped driving a silver 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier for not using a turn signal. During the stop he got out, walked up to the trooper car, became verbally abusive, and ignored commands to return to his car. Charge: disorderly conduct. Bail: $200.

Nov. 17, S. Alaska St. near Cottonwood Ave.: Melissa Lee Archibald, 20, and a 17-year-old Palmer girl were in a wreck. No injuries. Damage to Archibald’s vehicle: $4,000. Archibald cited for speeding and lacking proof of insurance.

Nov. 17: Cory Jacob Sandiford, 29, Palmer, contacted at a traffic stop. Charge: drug misconduct IV.

Nov. 19: Joseph Henry Martin, 59, Palmer, arrested on a $20,000 warrant for burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Nov. 19: Leslie C. Marden, 43, Palmer, stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: NVOL, making a false report. Bail: $500.

Nov. 21, 2:27 p.m., Aspen Ave.: Police spotted a vehicle in the ditch and found Margaret Irving, 39, Wasilla, had lost control while westbound and hit the fence of Aurora Cemetery. She was cited for not exercising due care.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Nov. 21, 10 p.m.: Jacob Hunnings, 18, passenger in a vehicle police stopped. Summons: Underage drinking.

DUI

Nov. 21, 10 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Weber Dr.: Jonathan Fortner, 18, Wasilla, ran from police trying to stop him on a complaint from the public, nearly forcing other motorists off the road. Military officials arrested him on a warrant for desertion. Wasilla police will charge him with eluding arrest, DUI, reckless driving, underage drinking and minor driving after drinking.

Nov. 22, 2:38 a.m., Holiday Dr.: Police responding to a disturbance stopped Geoffrey Brewer, 19, Wasilla. Summons: Underage drinking, minor driving after drinking.

VANDALISM

Nov. 22, 1:16 a.m., Tailgaters parking lot: Traves Kelly 27, Anchorage, allegedly kicked the outside mirror of a vehicle, causing $50 damage. Criminal mischief charges were sent to the district attorney.

Nov. 22, 4:40 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Weber Dr.: Desere Jenks, 18, Wasilla, summonsed for NVOL, cited for no proof of insurance.

THEFT

Nov. 23, 1:44 a.m., Tailgaters parking lot: A Wasilla man and woman reported someone stole a silver iPod shuffle and Volcom purse from their vehicle.

Nov. 23, 4 p.m., Railroad Ave.: A 34-year-old Wasilla man reported his red 2005 Dodge Ram pickup stolen from United Rentals sometime that day or the day before.

Nov. 23, 7:09 p.m., West Nugget Ave.: Someone stole a snow shovel.

ASSAULT

Nov. 23, 4:25 p.m.: Kurtis Kemp, 19, arrested for domestic violence assault and on a warrant for failure to appear in court on underage drinking after police were called to a fight between him and a sibling. Bail: $500.

Nov. 23, 10:30 p.m., W. Mystery Ave.: Police called to a disturbance arrested Kayleigh Rouse, 24, Wasilla and Jamie Rouse, 26, of Wasilla, for assault. Fred Starr Jr., 48, arrested on Anchorage warrant for contempt of court and Ketchikan warrant for failure to appear in court on DWI charge.

MISUSE OF REGISTRATION

Nov. 24: Jeremy Hilderbrand, 25, Wasilla, stopped for not wearing a seatbelt. The registration tab on his car belonged to another car. Passenger Amanda Gillen, 21, Wasilla, admitted to putting the sticker on the car. Summons for Gillen: misuse of evidence of registration.
