no excuses. the palin's come across as greedy and opportunistic. not a good look at any time--especially during an economic downturn.
that they remain quiet as to why they didn't wear their own clothes...makes them all the more suitable for serious, ongoing criticism. "

there is nothing out there--nothing--where she explains that! only that her smelly, used clothes are going to charity. big deal had she worn her own clothes in the first place donors could have seen $150000-200000 to something important--like, you know--THE CAMPAIGN SO THEY COULD WIN AGAINST OBAMA!
did she also explain why usband/kids/ boyfriend couldn't WEAR THEIR OWN CLOTHES? or why she bought an extra pair of glasses? lingerie from Victorias Secret? toys? all documented by RNC. "

Gee, I bet many of your less fortunate citizens would love to have some of this clothing. Curious though, why didn't she and famil bring their own clothes? And heck, Todd could have taken the 7 year old home so she could have attended school. And then the clothes for the father of the un-weds baby, clothes for him?? "

It wasn't the far more intense, straight, sit and talk for an hour (no editing--and "live" in studio) interviewing that Oprah does--which Palin can't do. She could hardly make it through pretaped news segments for ABC/CBS--and McCain had to start accompanying her after those disasters.
Obama was invited on Oprah only to promote his book; Palin hasn't written anything.
Winfrey's image remains untarnished--but not Palin's! "

What are you gonna do when she can't balance the new budget because oil company tax revenues are as small as they currently are. Your annual check may be close t -0-. Think about a country without an auto industry, and then less gas usage, opps there goes your tax check.
Then come back and say how great the mole is.
ASnd Norma, Sarah probably would have a difficult time being interviewed by a 5th graer. Her answers are rarely on topic and then go all over without rhyme or reason. "
Edward from AZ wrote on Dec 11, 2008 2:34 PM:
You should read tax law.
1. Hobbys cannot deduct expenses greater than income, see Todd sled racing.
2. Per diem payments need to be reported and matched against actual expense on tax return.
3. Gifts recieved for hotels, etc. need to be reported as Income
4. Expense report charges for personal family travel, hotels, meals, and the like need to be reported as income.
This does not touch upon the legality of her per diem charges and personal family charges she has had Alaska pay for, but thats an ethical question. So please educate yourself. "

Obama health plan will also be socialism because he favors adding a government insurance plan. He wants people to choice among private insurance plans and a government insurance plan.
The auto bailout will also give government an ownership stake in private automobile companies more socialism. sorry thats 3. "

Look at what happened with the CBS interview and with ABC. Remember how McCain came along after that with any interviews on a national level?
Palin can't carry an hour. She's not bright enough or savvy enough. (I don't think Oprah would mistreat her--that's not her way.)
Palin lacks confidence and skill--I'm glad she's finally realizing it. "

Ms. Kelly should be less afraid of names than taking steps to help the young. I'm sure Ms. Kelly is doing OK financially, as am I, but that doesn't make me selfish enough to trash the concept of health care for all children simply because it sounds socialist.
The next time conservative Ms. Kelly tosses out Christian references during political conversations, she should realize how hypocritical she is. "

Rebecca--tell us where it's written, where Palin explains why she didn't wear her own clothes, bought clothing for her daughter's boyfriend; took donor money in the first place to buy clothes--then lied about it?
Then--please tell us about the filing/contents on her tax returns.
That'll do for a start, Rebecca; there are plenty more questions. But this'll keep you busy.
I doubt that we'll be hearing anymore from you Rebecca. Ta-ta! "

You love her huh?
What makes you unable to see all the shortcomings in this person?
Fraud is Sarah. Fraudulent per diem expense reports. Fraudulent expense reports charging personal family travel expenses to her state. Fraudulent tax returns on at least 4-5 counts. And now, a late filing of freebees, again not appearing on her federal tax returns. That is downright criminal.
But then you must be blind, dumb, and deaf, along with all her supporters. "

I would appreciate your comments regarding the following:
Fraudulent expense reports with personal family travel
Per diem expense reports for not going to her office
Fraudulent tax returns, hubbys hobby, failure to report per diem payments
Children not in school during campaign, and down syndrome child being at rallys day and late night when he should have been home safe
So lets step up to the palte and respond.
Thank you "
