Like many Alaskans, I could care less about your opinion because....you live in Arizona. You are not in a position to know or appreciate what Mr. Stevens has done for me or other Alaskans. I am disappointed with the notion that he may have taken advantage of his position. But unlike you, I am also aware of everything that he did for us. Well as I see it Mr. (Convicted) Stevens was in a position of trust in the state of Alaska. He took handouts opr whatever, which is against the law. So as I understand you we should stand behind him and support him. Hmm.

He did this without regard to Alaskan citizens.

For 25 years he was there to help without ever expecting anything in return. I was surprised when he got in trouble for tax evasion, but stood by him none-the-less.
