WARRANTS

Dec. 25, 10:29 p.m., Palmer: Mark Downs, 51, Palmer, arrested after allegedly running a stop sign, on five warrants for failure to appear on DWLR charges. New charge: DWLR. No bail.

Dec. 26, 6:20 p.m., Palmer: Grant William Dunnigan, 41, Palmer, arrested at a home on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWI and refusing a chemical test charges. Bail: $250.

Dec. 28, 1:35 a.m., Wasilla: William Olinger, 22, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge. Bail: $500.

MVC

Dec. 25, 6:08 p.m., Big Lake Rd. and Big Lake Lodge Rd.: Gary Lindholm, 54, Wasilla, allegedly failed to yield crossing Big Lake Rd. in his 1990 Dodge van. Shona Pond, 24, Big Lake, was unable to stop in her 2003 Ford Taurus and hit the van. No injuries. Damages: $5,000. Lindholm cited for not yielding.

Dec. 24, 2:41 p.m., Knik-Goose Bay Rd. and Birch Harbor Dr.: Kraig A. Berg, 45, Wasilla, southbound in his 2002 GMC pickup when he realized he couldn’t stop and hit the side of a 2001 Dodge pickup driven by Deejana K. Engle, 45, Wasilla. Berg then hit a 1978 International pickup driven by William K. Burns, 57, Wasilla. No injuries. Minor damage.

Dec. 27, 12:10 p.m., S. Park R. and Maplewood Dr.: A 17-year-old Big Lake boy was turning left in a 1995 Mazda 626 when he was hit by a 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Kiana Hiler, 29, Big Lake. Damages: $1,000 each. Hiler summonsed for DWLS and cited for no proof of insurance.

Dec. 27, 2:42 p.m., Mile 58 Glenn Hwy.: Robert L. Jones II, 57, Sutton, southbound in a 1994 Ford Explorer when he ran off the road and rolled. Minor injuries. Damages: $2,500.

Dec. 27, 11:34 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Meadow Lakes Lp.: Deborah A. Samel, 47, Willow, westbound in a red 1999 GMC Suburban rear-ended a westbound trailer being towed by a 2009 Buick Enclave driven by Ty A. Schommer, 41, Anchorage. No injuries. Damage to Buick and trailer: $2,000. Damage to GMC: $3,000. Samel cited for not exercising due care.

Dec. 27, 1:03 p.m., Sage Rd. and Schrock Rd.: Sergey Chebukin, 55, Wasilla, slid on the ice making a turn and hit Enereta Palepua, 23, Wasilla, westbound in her 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Palepua’s damage: $2,500. Damage to Chebukin’s vehicle: $50. Chebukin cited for speeding.

Dec. 26, 12:45 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Seward-Meridian Pkwy.: Cassandra Young, 28, Palmer, drove into the ditch. Her license came up suspended out of Virginia for not paying fines. Summons: DWLS.

Dec. 26, 3:08 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Seward-Meridian Pkwy.: Jordan Thomas Levey, 21, Palmer, stopped for a traffic infraction. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $250.

Dec. 27, 3:32 p.m., Bogard Rd.: Andrew James Weimer, 23, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic infraction. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $250.

ASSAULT

Dec. 26, 11:48 a.m., Wasilla: David Bryan, 52, Wasilla, arrested for allegedly strangling and assaulting his girlfriend. A police dog tracked him down in the woods near the home. Charges: Assault, interfering with a domestic violence crime, parole violation on assault conviction.
