Feb. 11, 4:56 p.m., a parking lot in Willow: Catherine Bertolini, 50, Anchorage, stopped on a complaint from the public. Summons: DWLC.

Feb. 12, 7:50 p.m., Big Lake Rd.: Heather Crocker, 31, Big lake, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

Feb. 13, 7:35 p.m., Mile 39 Parks Hwy.: Aaron Hosman, 31, Big Lake, stopped for erratic driving. Summons: DWLS.

Feb. 13, 9:49 p.m., Glenn Hwy, Palmer: Gilbert Henry Valencia, 41, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $750.

ASSAULT

Feb. 14, 2:30 a.m., Country Dr.: Johann J. Reimann Jr., 36, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

Feb. 14, 11:30 a.m., Harter Dr.: Curtis Fitzgerald, 54, Palmer, arrested on two counts of assault. No bail set.

MVC

Feb. 12, 6:35 p.m., Bogard Rd. and Greentree Dr.: Natasha M. Grover, 18, Wasilla, eastbound in a 1977 Ford pickup, rear-ended a 1994 Pontiac Grand-Am driven by Lisa A. Morgan, 37, Wasilla, who was turning. No injuries. Damage to Grover’s vehicle: $2,000. Morgan’s vehicle totaled.

Feb. 13, 1:06 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and 49 th State St.: Virginia Spreen, 85, Wasilla, westbound in a 1992 Mercury, turning into a driveway, was hit by an eastbound 1979 Ford pickup being driven by Harold Reno, 67, of Wasilla. Sprren had minor injuries. Damage to both vehicles greater than $2,000. Spreen cited for not yielding.

Feb. 13, 6:55 p.m., Mile 37 Parks Hwy.: A 17-year-old Chugiak girl driving northbound in a 1999 GMC pickup hit a moose when two moose crossed the road. The girl was unhurt. Vehicle damage: $5,000.

Feb. 14, 10:23 a.m., Sylvan Rd. south of Bruns Dr.: James Teremi, 46, Wasilla, driving a 1994 Jeep Cherokee southbound, lost control, crossed the centerline and was trying to get back when he was hit by a 1995 GMC Sonoma pickup driven by Kristin Hanson, 21, Wasilla. Damage to each vehicle: $2,000. Teremi’s passenger, Mark Rovig, 49, Wasilla, hospitalized with neck and back injuries. Teremi cited for driving on the left. Hanson cited for no proof of insurance.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Feb. 14, 9:14 a.m., Windy Bottom Rd.: Debbie Gardner, 50, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

VIOLATING PROTECTIVE ORDER

Feb. 14, 5:59 p.m., Willow: Anthony Cooper, 46, Willow, allegedly violated a stalking order by visiting a local gas station.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Feb. 15, 1 a.m., Horizon Blvd. and Parks Hwy.: Three passengers in a 1985 Jeep Wagoner were summonsed for underage drinking and released to a parent.

DUI

Feb. 11, 5:26 p.m., W. Success Dr.: Thomas Little, 36, Willow, allegedly assaulted a family then drove away drunk. Charges: Felony DUI, assault, DWLR. No bail pending arraignment.

Feb. 12, 3:40 a.m., Bogard Rd. and Northshore Dr.: Troopers happened upon a rollover accident. The driver Laurie J. Hubbard, 46, Wasilla, was hospitalized for observation then jailed for DUI. bail: $500.

Feb. 13, 1:22 a.m., Cottonwood Dr.: David M. Bosch, 28, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member, broke several items in the home, then drove away drunk. Charges: Felony DUI, assault, criminal mischief. No bail set.

Feb. 15, 1:33 a.m., Knik-Goose Bay Rd. near Minnetonka Dr.: Bryan E. Myers, 31, Wasilla, stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI. Also arrested on warrant for DUI. Bail: $2,250.

WARRANT

Feb. 15, 3 a.m. Wellington Dr. and Kensington Ave.: Donnie Ray Matheson, 39, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on a warrant with the original charge of NVOL. New charge: DWLS. Bail: $1,000.

THEFT

Feb. 11, 4:15 p.m., Cottle Lp.: A home was burglarized and an estimated $2,000 cash was stolen.

Feb. 11, 12:35 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Hermon Rd.: Gregory C.K. Brower, 27, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: NVOL.

WARRANTS

Feb. 9, headquarters: Rory E. Vail, 19, Wasilla, turned himself in on $1,000 warrant for failure to appear at change of plea hearing on resisting arrest, DWLR and providing false information charges.

Feb. 9: Thomas Samuel Davis, 19, Wasilla, arrested on no bail warrant for failure to report to jail on drug misconduct, weapons misconduct and DUI charges.

Feb. 11: Michael Warner Pitts, 20, arrested on $1,000 warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on DWLS charge.

Feb. 13: Shay Martin Hall, 21, Palmer, arrested on one $500 warrant for failure to appear in court on underage drinking charge and one $500 warrant for drug misconduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A juvenile with Hall was summonsed for underage drinking.

Feb. 13: A 17-year-old Palmer girl was arrested on $250 warrant for not completing alcohol training on underage drinking charge.

Feb. 13: Jeremiah Corbin, 30, Palmer, turned himself in on a $2,000 warrant for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing on drug misconduct charge and a $5,000 warrant for violating probation on a drug misconduct charge.

Feb. 14: Jacob Martin Turet, 21, Marshall, arrested on $500 warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on transporting alcohol via common carrier charge.

Feb. 14: Vincent Paul, 43, Palmer, arrested on a $52,000 Hawaii warrant for burglary and bail jumping and a no bail Ohio warrant for resisting arrest, DUI and noncompliance with police orders. New charge: Resisting arrest.

Feb. 14: Theresa Gruske, 32, Palmer, arrested on $1,000 warrant for contempt of court on DUI charge.

Feb. 9: Amanda Renee Olmstead, 23, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic violation. Summons: DWLS.

Feb. 11: Marlo S. Lugar, 41, Palmer, summonsed for DWLS.

THEFT

Feb. 11, CarQuest: Someone used a customer’s store account to fraudulently charge $752 in auto parts.

Feb. 13, La Fiesta: A white male in his early 20s left without paying for his $15.91 meal.

PERMIT VIOLATION

Feb. 12: A 16-year-old Palmer boy was summonsed for driving on an instructional permit. His mother, Vera Hoffman Obeso, 45, was summonsed for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

MVC

Feb. 12, Glenn Hwy. at Drift Lane: Michelle Lynn Peterson, 27, Palmer, and Darrick Duane Larson, 22, Palmer, were in a wreck. No injuries.

Feb. 13, N. Gulkana St. and Beaver Ave.: Aaron C. Mahan, 18, Palmer, left the road and hit a power pole. Charges: DUI, underage drinking, leaving the scene of an accident. Bail: $500.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Feb. 13: William Dent-Kincaid, 18, Palmer, summonsed for underage drinking.

FRAUD

Feb. 14: Tina Marie Papp, 35, Palmer, arrested for fraudulent use of a credit car and forgery. Bail: $2,000.

ASSAULT

Feb. 15: A 13-year-old Palmer boy was charged with assault and interfering with a domestic violence report.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

MVC

Feb. 9, 2:08 p.m., Wasilla High School: Sharon Lauer, 39, Wasilla, allegedly pulled out in front of a 17-year-old driver, causing a collision. No injuries.
