HINDERING PROSECUTION

Feb. 26, 6 p.m., Pilgrim Ct.: Jasmine Gray, 25, Wasilla, arrested for allegedly hiding her boyfriend, Morgan Jett, 23, Wasilla, in her crawlspace. Charge: Hindering prosecution. Bail: $2,500.

Feb. 25, 9:55 p.m., Glenn Hwy. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Richard Alexander, 24, Palmer, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS. Citation: No proof of insurance.

Feb. 25, 2:45 p.m., Mile 63 Parks Hwy.: Russell Redick, 54, Willow, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $500.

Feb. 26, 8:43 p.m., Parks-Glenn Interchange: Andrew Scott Bates, 22, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Summons: DWLS.

Feb. 27, 2:42 p.m., Mile 11.5 Talkeetna Spur Rd.: Cortni Ruth, 31, Talkeetna, was doing a three-point turn in her 1985 Toyota pickup when she was hit by a 1999 Chevrolet Astro van being driven by Susan Halseth, 39, Willow. No injuries. Ruth arrested for DWLR and on $1,000 warrant with the original charge of DWLR and issued multiple citations. Toyota’s damage; $500. Chevrolet’s damage: $2,000.

Feb. 27, 11;52 p.m., Mile 44 Parks Hwy.: Dustin W. Ashcraft, 24, Anchorage, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLR.

DUI

Feb. 25, 3:07 p.m., Mile 5 Old Glenn Hwy.: Steven E. Lease, 55, Palmer, contacted after driving into the ditch. Charges: DUI, refusing a breath test, DWLS, disorderly conduct. Bail: $1,500.

Feb. 26, 3:05 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Museum Dr.: Heather Brown, 32, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Citation: Open container.

Feb. 26, 11 p.m., E. Kiva Wy.: Amanda J. Patterson, 29, Eagle River, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test. Bail: $500.

Feb. 27, 5:54 p.m., Palmer: Donald L. Walker, 60, Palmer, arrested at home on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Feb. 27, 6:44 p.m., Northway Dr.: Phillip L. Rominas, 50, Wasilla, was in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the ditch. Charges: Felony DUI, DWLR. Bail: $10,000.

Feb. 28, 6:18 a.m., Seldon Rd. at Jasper Dr.: Jeffrey W. Martin, 41, Wasilla, found slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Mar. 1, 2 a.m., Glenn Hwy. near Jonesville Mine Rd.: Troopers tried to stop the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup that continued driving to a home on McPherson Ave. The driver, Ronald Dolfi, 45, Sutton was arrested on a warrant for violating probation on charges of refusing a chemical test. New charges: DUI, DWLR, eluding arrest, refusing a chemical test. Citations: No proof of insurance, expired tags, defective headlight.

Feb. 25, 6:50 p.m., Mile 39 Glenn Hwy.: Anthony Hash, 52, Palmer, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant for failure to remand to jail on DUI charge.

Feb. 26, 5:21 a.m., Wasilla: Lonny G. Ennen, 52, Wasilla, arrested at home on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge. Bail: $500.

Feb. 26, 6:40 p.m., Pilgrim Wy.: Morgan Jett, 23, Wasilla, arrested on three outstanding warrants for probation violation. Original charges; theft and assault. No bail.

Feb. 26, 7:15 p.m., Anaheim Dr.: Matthew Chenier, 19, Palmer, arrested on two $200 warrants, one for failure to appear on underage drinking charge, the other for NVOL.

Feb. 27, 10:21 a.m., Palmer Courthouse: William Robinson, 53, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to report to jail on charges of assault and theft. He is to serve 100 days.

THEFT

Feb. 25, 3:15 p.m., Knik River Rd.: A shed was broken into and $200 worth of hand tools stolen. Damage: $30.

Feb. 26, 5:26 p.m., Fairview Lp.: Someone broke into a home and stole numerous items, including several firearms.

Mar. 1, 7:43 a.m., Lucille St.: An apartment was burglarized and $4,800 in property stolen sometime after 10 p.m. Feb. 28.

Mar. 1, 9:31 a.m., S. Downwind Cir.: A home was burglarized and $600 in property stolen sometime after 9 a.m. Feb. 25 .

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Feb. 24, 8:20 a.m., Wasilla: Carolann Mahoy, 51, Wasilla, was found dead by her husband. Foul play is not suspected.

Feb. 28, 12:15 a.m., Michael’s Assisted Living Center: Bill M. Mikell, 67, Palmer, died of natural causes.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Feb. 26, 12:05 a.m., E. Beaver Lake Ave.: Steven J. Meier, 35, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance. Charge: disorderly conduct. Bail; $250.

Feb. 28, 1:30 a.m., Hallie Dr.: Cal. A. Smith, 42, Wasilla, was allegedly arguing over a cab fare when he punched the cab’s window, cracking it. Charges: Disorderly conduct, criminal mischief. Bail: $350.

Mar. 1, 1 a.m., Houston Lodge: Craig R. Talbott, 43, Wasilla, was allegedly drunk and refusing to leave. Charges: Drunk on licensed premises, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest. Bail: $2,000.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Feb. 28, 7 a.m., Meadow Lakes Lp.: Shaun A. Slater. 20, Fairbanks, Lenna M. Slater, 19, Fairbanks, and Regina G. Seeley, 18, Fairbanks, summonsed for underage drinking.
