THEFT Mar. 24, 10:18 p.m., Emperor Cir.: Someone broke into a home through a front window and stole multiple items including Louis Vuitton purses, scarves and jewelry. MVC Mar. 23, 8:35 a.m., Nancy Lake Pkwy and Long Lake Rd.: Jeffrey Mark Keller, 38, Willow, westbound driving his 2000 Ford F-150 pickup, tried to turn right and hit a 2007 Ford Escape driven by Brenten Hoard, 28, Willow. Damage to pickup minor. Damage to Escape heavy. No injuries. Keller cited for speeding. WARRANTS Mar. 25, 5 p.m., Lucille Rd. and Seldon Rd.: Russell R. Button, 32, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on two $500 warrants for failure to appear in court on DWLS charges. Bail: $1,000. Mar. 25, 4 p.m., McKechnie Lp.: Tina Marie Papp, 35, Palmer, arrested on two warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of assault and fraud. Bail: $2,500. Mar. 27, 4:05 p.m., Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility: A bail bondsman called to facilitate Tommy R. Bass, 32, Wasilla, turning himself in. Bass was arrested in the jail’s lobby on two warrants. Bail: $500. ASSAULT Mar. 25, 2:39 p.m., Backhaus St.: Arta Lee, 53, Houston, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set. Mar. 26, 7:32 p.m., N. Weisgram St.: Tamra K. Stone, 30, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set. WILDLIFE VIOLATIONS Mar. 22, Wolverine Creek Bridge: Brian L. DeVilbiss, Palmer, and Gregory Vaughn, Chugiak, allegedly found a moose on Mar. 20 that died of natural causes and butchered the animal for personal use without notifying authorities. The meat was seized and the men were summonsed to court. DUI Mar. 26, 7:11 p.m., Dean Dr.: Susan Doran, 67, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance for DUI. Bail: $5,000.
