ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Apr. 2, 4:05 p.m., Via Tranquilla Dr.: Jeffrey Kipi, 49, Wasilla, was allegedly intoxicated and creating unreasonably loud noise. He was given a warning. Three hours later, troopers were called again. Kipi was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bail: $250.

Apr. 3, 1:37 a.m., Mat-Su Regional Medical Center: Hospital patient Jolene D. Sawyer, 18, Wasilla, arrested for disorderly conduct. No bail set.

NVOL

Apr. 3, 5:28 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla hwy. and Glenn Hwy.: A 15-year-old Wasilla girl was summonsed for NVOL.

Apr. 3, 8:20 p.m., S. Big Lake Rd. and Lighthouse Dr.: Carlton Pettit III, 36, Wasilla, contacted while stopped and blocking the roadway. Charge: NVOL. Bail: $250.

Apr. 6, 1:15 a.m., Williwaw Wy.: Mitchell M. Nelson, 37, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic violation. Charge: NVOL. Bail: $100

Apr. 7, 11:54 a.m., Caswell Lakes Rd.: Jesse Oglend, 20, Willow, stopped for a traffic violation. Summons: NVOL.

THEFT

Apr. 3, 7:48 a.m., Mat-Su College: Sometime after 8 p.m. April 2 someone forced entry into several offices and stole $100 cash.

Apr. 4, 1:36 p.m., Mile 46 Parks Hwy.: Neighborhood Auto Center reported that $1,000 in property had been stolen sometime in the previous two days.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Apr. 4, 1:2 a.m., Miramar St.: Michael J. Lachelt, 19; Savannah L. Laseter, 18; Tim G. Schahele, 19; a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, all of Wasilla, were summonsed for underage drinking.

Apr. 6, 12:40 a.m., Seldon Rd. and Bogard Rd.: Jessica Russell, 28, Palmer, stopped for a moving violation. Summons: DWLR.

Apr. 6, 8:02 a.m., Palmdale Dr.: Efrem Erofeeff, 33, Anchorage, drove up to speak to troopers conducting an investigation. Summons: DWLS.

WARRANTS

Apr. 5, 5:15 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Heidi L. Sickler, 23, Wasilla, arrested on $1,000 warrant with the original charge of theft.

Apr. 5, 5:15 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Crusey St.: Forrest J. Kaznakoff, 29, Houston, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant with the original charge of DUI. New charge: DWLR. Bail: $250.

Apr. 7, 11:54 a.m., Caswell Lakes Rd.: Kent Brengard, 38, Willow, arrested at a traffic stop on $200 warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge.

ASSAULT

Apr. 7, 12:12 a.m., Guernsey Dr.: Florence F. Pitcher allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

WARRANTS

Mar. 31, 9:27 a.m.: Terry Yacovelli, 46, arrested at a local business on a tip from the public on three warrants for failure to appear in court — two on charges of drug misconduct and one on a charge of DWLR.

Apr. 2, 6:50 a.m., Wasilla; Lincoln Norman Riley Jr., 44, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance on $1,500 warrant for failure to appear in court on domestic violence assault charge.

Apr. 3, 5:28 p.m.: Douglas Deisenroth, 55, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge. New charge: DWLR. Bail: $500.

DWLSCR

Mar. 30, 9:16 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Seward-Meridian Pkwy.: B. J. White, 25, Houston, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Christine Saunders, 48, Wasilla. White cited for not exercising due care and summonsed for DWLS.

RUNAWAY

Mar. 30, 10:37 p.m.: Jeffrey Lynn Brummer, 52, Wasilla, reported his son had run away. The boy is 5’2”, 95 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt.

THEFT

Apr. 1, 10 a.m., Bogard Rd.: A 56-year-old Palmer woman reported her business, Rev-M-Up Coffee was burglarized during the night and cash stolen. Video surveillance was in use.

Apr. 2, 2:02 p.m., West Valley Medical Campus: Someone entered the facility after hours and stole from several offices.

Apr. 2, 4:08 p.m., Fred Meyer: Patricia Schatz, 25, Wasilla, allegedly tried to leave with $643 in merchandise. Felony theft charges are being sent to the District Attorney.

Apr. 2, 7:37 p.m., Dairy Queen: A 1988 Toyota Corolla with lots of rust, a dented hood, a missing portion of the grill, an inoperable front turn signal and yellow writing on the right rear window was stolen while the complainant was at work.

Apr. 2, 11:30 p.m., 451 E. Parks Hwy.: The Born and Brewed coffee stand was burglarized and $80 cash stolen.

Apr. 3, 6:18 a.m., E. Westpoint Dr.: A business was burglarized.

Apr. 4, 7:46 p.m., Fred Meyer: A juvenile girl allegedly tried to steal $76.76 in merchandise. Charges are being sent to juvenile intake.

VANDALISM

Apr. 5, 1:50 a.m., E. Herning Ave.: Police responding to an active burglar alarm found someone had cut through the back wall of a store next to the back door.

FOUND PROPERTY

Apr. 1, 1:03 p.m.: Police received a double-action revolver found near Mile 14 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.

ACCIDENTS

Apr. 1, 4 p.m., Parks Hwy. east of Church Rd.: Eugene Hogate, 37, and Debra Johnson, 49, both of Big Lake, were in two cars stopped in traffic. Warren Bogle, 49, Wasilla, rear-ended Johnson, pushing her into Hogate. Bogle cited for not exercising due care.

Apr. 2, 10:25 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Financial Dr.: Gerald Moore, 67, Willow, northbound attempting to enter the left turn lane, failed to see a vehicle driven by Patricia Pendergrass, 38, Palmer, and hit her. No injuries.

Apr. 2, 3:45 p.m., S. Hallea Ln.: Shane Minnick, 41, Wasilla, southbound driving a 2006 GMC pickup, left the road and hit a yellow concrete barrier in front of a fire hydrant. No injuries. Damage to pickup extensive.

Apr. 3, 10:25 a.m., Hermon Rd. at Sun Mountain Dr.: A 2000 Ford pickup driven by Dale Chalender, 52, Eagle River, hit a 2007 Chevrolet pickup driven by Dustin Hattenburg, 21, Palmer. Chalender cited for not exercising due care. Damage moderate. No injuries.

Apr. 6, 2:26 p.m., Herman Rd. and Parks Hwy.: Kristopher Krueger, 20, Wasilla, hit the signal light at the northwest corner of the intersection. Citation: Not exercising due care.

Apr. 6, 6:30 p.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy. and Old Matanuska Rd.: Maren Funk, 18, Wasilla, allegedly failed to yield coming out of a parking lot and hit Berkley Tilton. No injuries.

DUI

Apr. 2, 12:56 a.m., Carrs parking lot: Police spotted John Benedict, 43, driving his pickup in circles around near the entrance. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Apr. 2, 9:40 p.m.: An off-duty officer called in a possible intoxicated driver. Oliver Godnig, 24, Wasilla, was arrested for DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Apr. 3, 7:53 p.m.: Jennifer Clark, 38, Palmer, stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI, NVOL.

Apr. 3, 4:35 a.m., Bogard Rd. and Main St.: Raymond Ellison, 23, Wasilla, stopped for running a stop sign and speeding. Charges: DUI, DWLS. Bail: $250.

Apr. 4, 5:41 a.m., Parks Hwy.: On a complaint from the public, officers stopped Judith Wood, 46, Palmer. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Apr. 5, 1:24 a.m., Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Greg Way, 42, stopped for passing in a no passing zone. Way arrested on warrant for failure to serve a jail sentence and on new charges of DUI, DWLS and weapons misconduct. No bail set.

Apr. 5, 4:54 a.m., Tommy Moe Dr. and Swanson Ave.: Brittany Scott, 26, Wasilla, stopped for running a stop sign. Charge: DUI. bail: $500.

DRUG MISCONDUCT

Apr. 3, Arby’s parking lot: On a report of individuals doing drugs, police placed a vehicle into investigative impound.

VIOLATION

Apr. 5, 1:42 p.m.: Police stopped Amber Martin, 30, Wasilla, for a moving violation and found her license plate didn’t belong to the vehicle she was driving.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Apr. 5, 4:39 p.m., W. Commercial Dr.: A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old will have charges of underage drinking against them forwarded to Juvenile Justice.

PERMIT VIOLATION

Apr. 7, 12:15 a.m., Parks Hwy. at Crusey St.: Hadley Christiansen, 18, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Summons: Driving on an instructional permit.

PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

Mar. 30, Carrs: Cody L. Hawkins, 22, Palmer, allegedly tried to steal $10.54 in merchandise. Summons: shoplifting.

Mar. 30, S. Bailey St.: Ten businesses were broken into and items stolen.

Apr. 1, Subway parking lot: A 57-year-old Wasilla woman reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle.

Apr. 1: A 30-year-old Wasilla man reported his blue 2001 Dodge pickup stolen from a house.

Apr. 2: A 54-year-old Palmer woman reported $700 in items stolen from her home.

Apr. 3: A 22-year-old Palmer woman reported her vehicle’s stereo stolen while it was parked in front of her home.
