Not long ago Levi’s mother was busted for dealing in drugs and now Todd Palin’s half-sister gets caught in a burglary attempt.
It’s sad that a couple of young people have to raise a child at such an early age, but it’s not all that uncommon.
|
|
There’s simply no excuse for a woman to take her 4-year-old child on a burglary run.
Still, any one of those things could happen to an extended family, but the totality is what’s incredible.
In regard to the two television interviews, it doesn’t seem like those children were getting very good advice. Most people would prefer to keep family matters private. It’s not like they are movie stars where any exposure is good exposure.
And while Levi Johnston is no relation to Governor Palin, anything like his interview will stick to her like tar and her political enemies and the wagging tongues on the Internet will pounce on it.
That’s not a way to get on the good side of your baby’s grandmother. Or endear you to anyone who has any say about how much you’ll get to see your son.
The same thing goes for the criminals on the fringe of this family. Sarah Palin hasn’t sold any illegal drugs and she hasn’t broke into anybody’s house to steal money, but her name will get linked to those acts.
Politicians have to have thick skin, but these events and interviews would require rhinoceroses hide.
She brought some of it on herself when she let Bristol talk to Van Susteren. She had to know nothing good could come of that. The bloggers have hung their hat on that miscue.
It seems like when things start to return to somewhat normal pace for the governor and Alaska, something else comes up that has nothing to do with her, but she still has to to deal with it while she’s trying to govern.
C’mon. Discussing your bedroom antics for Tyra Banks and her audience of voyeurs?
That’s a whole new tier of Valley Trash.

Even IMPERFECT mothers have the common sense, love and concern for their children and interest in their lives--to not allow them to date someone who lives with a 'known drug user'.
So what does that make Palin? Beyond imperfect. And I suspect--given the known circumstances--way, way beyond. "

And those that salivate over the chance to find something, anything, to use in thier efforts to bash the Palins are going to use the words of the Johnstons?! Geez....I guess if those are the kind of people that are in your camp..... "

I'd say both families deserve one another--like attracts like. The Palin's may be in a position wherein they can indulge and nurture their self-delusions of wholesomeness or righteousness; the Johnston's are not--thanks to the mother's recent arrest.
The Palin's are about as wholesome as sour milk.
These families are prime for a chair-throwing, hair-pulling episode of Jerry Springer.
A real leader would never let things come to this. "
