Obama freed Stevens

To the editor:

I am taking issue with Howard Delo’s April 7 article, “More Issues with the liberal agenda.” This is merely a cheap shot at liberals for the failings of the Bush presidency. Mr. Delo asserts that Ted Stevens was ousted from office by underhanded anti-gun doings. In fact, Stevens was investigated, prosecuted and convicted under the Bush Justice Department. It was Eric Holder, the Obama Attorney General that had the judge throw out Steven’s trial. Senator Begich ran a clean campaign and did not bring up Steven’s legal troubles at all. Conservatives such as Mr. Delo should look in the mirror before blaming others.
