ASSAULT

May 20, 3:10 a.m., Bogard Rd: Alan C. Braley, 46, allegedly assaulted a family member and caused $200 damage to a residence. Charges: Assault, criminal mischief. No bail set.

DEATH INVESTIGATIONS

May 20, 2 a.m., Wasilla: Louise T. Todd, 85, Wasilla, died at an assisted living home. Foul play is not suspected.

May 20, 9:50 p.m.: Donald Moren, 55, Wasilla, died after choking on a piece of food. Medics were unsuccessful in their life-saving efforts.

TRESPASSING

May 20, 11:20 p.m., Holiday Gas Station: David Gilligan, 36, Wasilla, reported as drunk and causing a disturbance, arrested for trespassing. Bail: $250.

THEFT

May 20, 11:23 a.m., Avalon Ct.: Someone stole a black 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with silver on the bottom half of the doors and a large number “68” in the rear window from a home sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. that day.

May 21, 7:31 a.m., South Pinnacle Peak Dr.: Someone broke into a home between 6 p.m. the day before and 7:20 a.m. that day and stole a gray 2004 Ford Mustang with Alaska plates EMG479 and $4,000 worth of belongings.

May 21, 3:20 p.m., Pittman Rd.: Someone broke into a home, doing $1,000 damage and stole $2,000 worth of belongings.

May 22, 11:18 a.m., Audie St.: Someone cut a hole in the chain link fence around a construction company sometime between 3:30 p.m. the day before and 6:30 a.m. that day. Missing were an 18-inch Husqvarna chainsaw and three speaker boxes with 12-inch Rockford Fosgate speakers. Loss: $1,800. Damage: $500.

May 24, 5 p.m., Twin Lakes Rd.: Someone forced entry to a cabin and stole food and alcohol. A green pickup was seen in the area.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

May 22, 10:07 a.m., Wesley Dr.: Someone forced entry and attempted to burglarize a home.

WARRANTS

May 22, 9:48 p.m., Plumley Rd.: Zoeanne Lynn Newhouse, 25, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DWLR. Warrant: failure to appear for arraignment on DWLR charge. Bail: $500.

May 23, 10:54 a.m., Shelby Dr.: Alexander Roberts, 21, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for drug misconduct. Bail: $1,000.

May 23, 8:31 p.m., Mile 89 Parks Hwy.: Alejandro Orozco, 19, Anchorage, arrested on a $250 warrant for driving without insurance.

RECKLESS DRIVING

May 22, 8:45 p.m., Vine Rd. and Parks Hwy.: A blue Chevy Tahoe reportedly involved in a disturbance was seen driving more than 100 mph, passing in no passing zones and running red lights. Darron Sanders, 28, Wasilla, was summonsed for reckless driving.

FELONY DUI

May 23, 12:40 a.m., Old Glenn Hwy.: A 1995 Dodge Intrepid failed to yield until it arrived on Plumley Rd. where the driver, Ty Wells Stevens, 33, Palmer, parked in a driveway and got out. Charges: DUI, eluding arrest, refusing a chemical test, DWLR. Bail: $10,000.

May 22, 11:07 p.m., Snowshoe Pkwy.: Michael D. Marion, 38, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend then drove off. Charge: Assault, DUI, refusing a chemical test. No bail set.

May 23, 10:40 a.m., Hollywood Rd. near Connie Rd.: Randy Ledbetter, 49, Wasilla, stopped for not wearing a seatbelt. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

May 23, 3 a.m., Little Susitna Campground: Allen Walker, 48, Houston, stopped after a complaint of shots fired. Charges: Felony DUI, DWLR, violating conditions of release. Bail: $5,000.

May 23, 8:58 p.m., Mile 81 Parks Hwy.: Jagyut Getgasorn, 49, Anchorage, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

May 22, 11:57 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Weber Dr.: Amy Wright, 27, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

May 22, 7:37 p.m., Lucille Rd.: Richard David Faulk, 31, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $250.

May 24, 1:13 p.m., Glenn Hwy. at Soapstone Rd.: Nichole Millsaps, 25, Wasilla, stopped for having a license plate improperly displayed. Summons: DWLR.

May 22, 6:24 p.m., Mile 67 Parks Hwy.: Judy Hannaman, 61, Willow, summonsed for NVOL and misuse of plates and written multiple citations.

ACCIDENTS

May 22, 1:30 p.m., Mile 133 Parks Hwy.: Steven Alexander, 57, Seward, northbound driving a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle, lost control on a gravel patch and left the road, hitting a dirt berm, flipping, and flying off the motorcycle. He injured his ankle and was hospitalized. Damage: $2,000.

May 24, 9:08 a.m., Mile 15 Old Glenn Hwy.: George Sherwood, 26, Palmer, southbound driving a 1995 Infiniti Q45, lost control, left the road and rolled. Sherwood hospitalized with minor injuries. Citation: Speeding.

WEAPONS MISCONDUCT

May 23, 3:15 a.m., Little Susitna Campground: A report of shots fired led to a traffic stop. Passenger Alvin W. Sexton, 30, Anchorage was allegedly found intoxicated and in possession of a gun he didn’t immediately inform troopers about. Charges: Weapons misconduct. Bail: $2,000.

May 22, Sheep Creek: Jacob Burzinski, 30, cited for fishing without a license.

May 23, Willow Creek: Chad V. Trupp, 20, Anchorage, cited for using a treble hook in single-hook waters.

May 23, Willow Creek: Bradly R. Stanton, 22, Wasilla, cited for buying a resident fishing license when he didn’t qualify.

May 23, Willow Creek: A 16-year-old Anchorage boy was cited for using a treble hook in single-hook waters.

May 23, Nancy Lake Creek: Nathan E. Cole, 24, Houston, cited for fishing in closed waters.

May 23, 7 p.m., Nancy Lake Creek: Lief E. Runstrom, 24, Big Lake, cited for fishing without a license.

May 22: A 17-year-old Palmer girl reported her cell phone stolen from her home several weeks ago.

May 19: Police found a tool set lying in the road.

May 19: A business owner on S. Alaska St. turned over a found bicycle.
