PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT

WARRANTS

June 22: Lane D. Theodore, 18, Palmer, arrested on $250 warrant for failure to appear at a probation hearing on underage drinking charge.

June 22: Terry A. Pershing, 27, Palmer, turned himself in on $1,500 warrant for failure to appear in court on assault and weapons misconduct charges.

June 23: Jory McDowell, 23, arrested on a warrant for failure to complete alcohol treatment on DUI charge. Bail: $500.

June 26: Caralinda Valentina Marie Roullier, 56, Anchorage, turned herself in on $3,000 warrant for failure to appear in court on DUI charge.

VANDALISM

June 22: A 43-year-old Palmer man reported damage to the Palmer Golf Course.

FOUND PROPERTY

June 22: Someone turned in a sheath knife they’d found.

DWLS

June 23: Conor Ray, 23, Palmer, issued a summons for DWLS.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

June 23: Police responded to an altercation between Ashley Van Russell, 20, Palmer and Hershey Rose Haney, 19, Palmer. Disorderly conduct and trespassing charges will be sent to the district attorney.

THEFT

June 24, Carrs: Jessica L. Hartman, 20, Palmer, allegedly caught shoplifting $4.89 in food. Summons: Theft.

RUNAWAY

June 24: A 16-year-old boy reportedly ran away from home.

CAT BITE

June 25: Esther McNeese, 81, Palmer, reported her cat bit her while they were playing.

ASSAULT

June 26: A 32-year-old Anchorage woman was allegedly combative and refusing to leave a residence. Charges: Assault, providing false information.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

June 26: A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, both of Palmer, were summonsed for underage drinking.

PERMIT VIOLATION

June 26: Linsey Adelina Veytia, 19, Wasilla, was issued a summons for driving in violation of an instructional permit.

VIOLATING RELEASE CONDITIONS

June 28: John J. Delkittie, 40, Palmer, arrested for violating his release conditions. Bail: $1,000.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

June 24, 7:35 p.m., Carrs: A 14-year-old boy was stopped for shoplifting $6.67 in merchandise. A report will be sent to Juvenile Justice.

June 26, 4:15 p.m., Swanson Ave.: A 14-year-old Wasilla girl reported her bicycle had been stolen from Valley Performing Arts.

June 26, 9:43 p.m., Shoprite: A juvenile was allegedly caught shoplifting. A theft charge will be sent to Juvenile Justice.

June 28, 5:49 p.m.: A 29-year-old Wasilla man reported someone broke into his vehicle sometime in the previous two days and stole a CD player and two speakers. Loss: $300.

FOUND PROPERTY

June 26, 1:03 p.m.: Heidi Wagner called to report her son had found two binders full of coins on Bogard Road.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

June 26, 6:32 p.m., Mug-Shot Saloon: Clyde Haack, 55, Wasilla, was allegedly intoxicated and refusing to leave the bar. He was arrested and ordered not to return. Charge: Disorderly conduct. Bail: $250.

PERMIT VIOLATION

June 26, 9:43 p.m.: Jennifer Newhard, 22, Wasilla, stopped for not wearing a seatbelt. Summons: Driving in violation of instructional permit.

BURGLARY

June 26, 1:36 p.m., N. Lucille St.: Police responded to a reported burglary.

DUI

June 26, 3:02 a.m.: Danielle Jones, 21, stopped for having expired registration. Charge: DUI.

June 26, 10:32 p.m.: Joseph Leach, 24, Wasilla, stopped for having expired registration. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

June 26, 10:38 p.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy. and Old Matanuska Rd.: Arthur Bates Jr., 22, Oregon, put his car into the ditch and was found nearby. He was treated at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center and released. Charges of DUI, NVOL, reckless driving and disorderly conduct will be sent to the district attorney.

June 27, 12:10 a.m.: Sherry Creech, 50, Wasilla, was allegedly spotted swerving across two lanes of traffic and the fog line. Records show she has at least five prior DUI convictions. Charges: Felony DUI, DWLR. Bail: $5,000.
