June 27, 1:11 a.m.: James Moore, 38, Wasilla, stopped for having a headlight out. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

June 27, 1:22 a.m.: Crystal Raskey, 27, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

June 27, 3:27 a.m., Lucille St. and Dana Ave.: Fred Seltenreich, 19, Wasilla, drove across the centerline, forcing a police car off the road. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test. Bail: $1,000.

June 27, 3:20 a.m., Mug-Shot Saloon: Michelle Simmons, 39, Palmer, stopped leaving the bar’s parking lot. Charge: DUI. Bail: $2,500.

June 27, 11:19 p.m., Church Rd.: Adina Graham, 43, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

June 28, 2:42 a.m.: Margo Truitt, 43, stopped for a traffic violation on a motor scooter. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

June 28, 4:16 a.m.: Robert Tingstrom, 21, Wasilla, arrested for DUI. Bail: $500.

June 28, 5:16 a.m., Lake Lucille Campground: A 17-year-old boy was stopped for erratic driving. Charges: DUI, failure to stop for a police officer, NVOL. Bail: $2,500. 

June 30, 12:06 a.m.: Heather Roesing, 20, Anchorage, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $500.

WARRANTS

June 26, 11:01 p.m., McDonalds: Police responding to a drunk driving call found Ivan Berezyuk, 26, Wasilla, and arrested him on a $1,500 Anchorage warrant for failure to appear in court on a DWLR charge.

June 29, 10:01 p.m.: Charles Hood, 18, Wasilla, stopped for speeding, arrested on warrant for failure to appear on a NVOL charge. New charge: NVOL, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $350.

VANDALISM

June 27, 7:04 a.m., Wal-Mart: A 24-year-old Wasilla man reported his vehicle was vandalized while parked at the store during the night. The rear driver’s side window had been smashed but entry had not been made.

June 25, 10:28 p.m.: Sean Baker-Kirkpatrick, 27, Wasilla, issued a summons for NVOL.

June 27, Palmer-Wasilla Highway Extension: Deserae Handley, 18, Wasilla, issued a summons for NVOL.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

June 28, 8:25 a.m., Century Cir.: Police responding to an expected home death found Margaret Remsen, 77, Wasilla, had passed away that morning.

July 1, 1:18 a.m., W. Melanie Ave.: Police responding to an expected home death found Wayne Cromwell had died of natural causes.

REGISTRATION VIOLATION

June 28, 5:14 p.m., Parks Hwy. at Hermon Rd.: Cynthia Criswell, 46, Wasilla, was allegedly found driving with an expired license plate. Summons: Improper use of registration.

WEAPONS MISCONDUCT

June 24, 7:09 p.m., Melanie Ave.: David Theone, 24, Anchorage, was allegedly intoxicated while possessing a firearm. Charge: Weapons misconduct.

ASSAULT

June 25, 1:53 a.m., E. Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Benjamin Schaugaard, 26, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. Charge: Assault.

July 1, 3:18 p.m.: Jason Mitchell, 37, Wasilla, allegedly committed domestic violence assault. Charges: Violating parole, assault.

SUSPICIOUS FIRE

June 25, 3:06 a.m., Dellwood St.: A trooper on patrol noticed a vehicle on fire in front of a home. Police and firefighters responded. The vehicle appeared to have been set on fire intentionally.

FOUND PROPERTY

June 25, 2 p.m., Riley Ave. and Century Cir.: Diane Ferguson, 55, Wasilla, reported she found a bicycle near the senior center. The bike was put in safekeeping at police headquarters.

ACCIDENTS

June 24, 5:30 p.m., Hermon Rd. and Sun Mountain Ave.: Elizabeth Bottom turned off the highway and headed northbound just as Deborah Hurd was entering the intersection. The two collided.

June 24, 7:38 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Financial Dr.: A 16-year-old driving a 2001 Ford Taurus tried to enter the highway and was hit by a 1989 Saab driven by Jacob Matlock, 28, Wasilla. No injuries. Teen cited for not exercising due care.

June 28, 3:47 p.m., Wal-Mart: Maridie Olson, 72, Palmer, allegedly failed to yield, causing a wreck with Nadine Boyce, 43, Wasilla.

June 30, 3:59 p.m., Carrs parking lot: Ryan Murphy, 22, Wasilla, was backing out of a spot when he hit a vehicle driven by Fred Nunley, 69, Wasilla, who was northbound through the lot. Damage was minor.

TRUNAWAY

July 1, 8:16 p.m.: An employee with Rosa House called to report a 15-year-old girl had run away from the facility and was last seen walking eastbound on Nelson Ave.

HEFT

June 30, 4:20 p.m., Sears: A 15-year-old girl was picked up for shoplifting after allegedly trying to leave without paying for a pair of sunglasses. Charges will be sent to Juvenile Intake.

July 1, 2:16 p.m., Lucille St.: The Treasure Loft was burglarized the night before and an undisclosed amount of cash taken.

June 28, 4:35 p.m., Big Lake Airport: Michael A. Roberts, 47, Anchorage, arrested on a warrant for DWLS. Bail: $500.

June 28, 6:02 p.m., W. Schulz Rd.: Ronald JC Hayes, 34, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for DWLS. Bail: $500.

June 29, 2 p.m., Palmer: Keith Ben Aumavae, 20, Palmer, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge. Bail: $750.

July 1, 7:40 p.m., King Arthur Dr. near No Name Hill: Alejandro Orozco, 19, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a no proof of insurance charge. Citation: No proof of insurance. Bail: $3,000.

July 2, 9:17 a.m., Parks Hwy. near W. Swanson Ave.: Travis Spencer, 31, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic violation, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge. New Charge: DWLS. Bail: $250.

June 28, 6:34 p.m., Johnson Rd. and Schulz Rd.: Shane P. Murphy,  26, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DWLR. Bail: $1,000.

June 28, 11:19 p.m., Mile 80 Parks Hwy.: Lorna Mckinney, 23, Anchorage, issued a summons for DWLS.

June 30, 3:52 p.m., Mile 3 Talkeetna Spur Rd.: Nicole Sherman, 22, Trapper Creek, stopped for a traffic violation. Summons: DWLS.

INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATION

June 24, 6:28 p.m., Wasilla: Kevin Thygeson, 19, allegedly drove a motorcycle without supervision from a licensed driver. Summons: Violating instructional permit.

FOUND PROPERTY

June 28, 3 p.m., Big Lake Rd. and Roxas Rd.: Three teenagers found an abandoned light green Yamaha Timberwolf ATV in the woods.

THEFT

June 29, 11 a.m., Peninsula Dr.: A trailer loaded with a washer, dryer and bedroom set was stolen from the yard of a home sometime between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. that day. Loss: $1,000.

June 29, 8:38 p.m., Timberview Dr.: Sometime between June 21 and June 29 someone entered a home and stole a $1,000 flat screen Sony television.

July 1, 12:16 p.m., Old Knik Rd.: Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. a home was burglarized and $5,000 worth of power tools, electronics and guns stolen. Damage: $50.

July 2, 1:04 p.m., All Elks Rd.: A 66-year-old Anchorage man reported that his red 1992 Ford Explorer was stolen from his cousin’s house sometime between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. July 1.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

June 29, 9:10 a.m., E. Riverbend Cir.: Eric Durkop, 61, Palmer, found to have died of natural causes. 

NVOL

June 27, 1:13 a.m., Willow: Scott Wright, 45, Anchorage, stopped for speeding. Summons: NVOL.

ELUDING ARREST

June 6, 10:09 a.m., 49th State St. and Colony Schools Wy.: James Sweeney, 22, of Palmer, stopped while driving an ATV. Charges: Eluding arrest, reckless driving. Bail: $1,500.

ASSAULT

June 29, 7:55 p.m., Mile 49 Tesoro Station: Jay O. Gardner, 45, Wasilla, allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened three people. Charges: Assault. Bail: $4,000.
