Sharon Kay Beebe

Kenai resident Sharon Kay Beebe died June 16 at her home in Kenai. She was 51.

Ms. Beebe was born Oct. 28, 1957 in San Jose, Calif. She moved to Alaska in 1971. She had lived in Anchorage for a number of years and most recently in Kenai.

She enjoyed football, car races, cooking and especially singing with the kids and grandchildren.


“To all she loved and all who loved her, may Sharon’s memory forever live in your mind and her love in your heart. She is loved and deeply missed,” her family said.

Ms. Beebe was preceded in death by her father Perry Beebe and a cousin, Shanna Lafferty.

She is survived by her mother, Diane Beebe of Nevada; brother, Johnny Beebe of Missouri; son, Chris Jones of Kenai; daughters, Brandy Heikes of Soldotna and Mysti of Kenai; sons-in-law, Ian Farrington of Soldotna and Jason Salyer of Utah; grandchildren Boo, Bubby and Bitty of Soldotna; extended family, Liz, Marion and Spencer Lee all of California, Chandera and Hunter of Kenai, Miki, Eric, Steven, Michael, Lisa and Sam Godert of Anchorage; and fiancé, Scott LeBar of Anchorage.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Bethel Chapel in Mountain View in Anchorage. Pastor Evans will officiate. A barbecue party will follow the service at David Green Park at 36th and Guiness in Anchorage.

Memorial donations may be sent to the family at P.O. Box 86, Soldotna, AK 99669.

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
