WARRANTS

July 13, 12:10 p.m., Big Lake: Richard Simms, 20, Big Lake, arrested on warrant for failure to report to jail on DUI and NVOL charges.

July 14, 2:30 p.m., Palmer: Desiree Emiline Tait, 24, Palmer, arrested on warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on destruction of property charge. Bail: $500.

July 14, 1:26 p.m., Homebuilt Cir.: Sheena Davison, 26, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of allowing an unauthorized person to drive and weapons misconduct. Bail: $3,000.

DWLS

July 13, 2:40 p.m., Mile 9 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Christopher S. Jordan, 33, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DWLS.

ACCIDENTS

July 13, 2:15 p.m., Begich Cir. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Ryan Cole, 21, Palmer, eastbound driving a 1994 Ford F-150, rear-ended by a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Jerod Sieler, 19, Palmer. No injuries. Damage: $2,000. Sieler cited for not exercising due care and for not having proof of insurance.

July 13, 5:12 p.m., Schrock Rd. near Lucille St.: A 12-year-old girl rolled her four-wheeler. She was hospitalized with minor injuries.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

July 13, 9 a.m., N. Lagoon Dr.: John Wilson, 88, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

WILDLIFE VIOLATIONS

July 2, Palmer: Troopers received report that Randall A. Brown, 47, had shot a black bear sow. The sow had three cubs. Brown had 100 to 200 bags of household garbage on his property which attracted the bears. He was cited for taking a sow accompanied by cubs and feeding game.

VIOLATING RELEASE CONDITIONS

July 14, 9:26 a.m., Williwaw Wy.: Tia Petito, 25, Wasilla, allegedly violated the conditions of her release by not being in the presence of her third party custodian. Bail: $1,500.

ASSAULT

July 15, 12:44 a.m., Mile 62 Parks Hwy.: Mary L.K. Baxter, 21, Houston, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

July 13: A man reported a Colt .45 stolen from his vehicle.

July 13, 9:45 a.m., Holiday gas station: A shoplifter was caught on camera.

ACCIDENT

July 13, 12:30 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Church Rd.: Mark Walter, northbound, rear-ended Donna Malone. No injuries.

July 13, 4:16 p.m., Crusey St. and USA Circle: Rachel Schouck, 21, Wasilla, allegedly failed to yield, colliding with Michael Young, 25, Wasilla. Both drivers and their passengers were hospitalized. Schouck cited for not exercising due care.
