July 15, 7:47 p.m., Mat-Su West trooper post: Robert Byerly, 32, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on DUI charge. Bail: $1,000. July 16, 8:30 a.m.: Jackson Stevens, 60, Trapper Creek, arrested on $10,000 warrant for assault.

July 16, 3:37 p.m., Vine Rd. and Country Wood Dr.: Christoffer C. Inman, 22, Big Lake, stopped for a moving violation, arrested on warrant for DUI, DWLS, weapons misconduct. New charge: DWLS. Bail: $3,500.

July 17, 1:34 a.m., Mat-Su Regional Medical Center; Diana Hurn, 37, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court. Bail: $500.

July 17, 9:30 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Pittman Rd.: Cricket Edison, 19, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation, arrested on a $100 warrant with the original charge of theft.

July 18, 1:55 a.m., Stanley Rd.: Tessla E. Fortner, 18, Wasilla, arrested during a disturbance investigation on warrant for a probation violation. No bail.

July 19, 2:11 a.m., Old Glenn Hwy. and Glenn Hwy.: Kit F. McCutcheon, 22, Chugiak, arrested at a traffic stop on Anchorage warrant for failure to appear on no insurance charge. Bail: $500.

July 19, 3:20 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Glenwood Dr.: Raymond Ellison, 23, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on $100 warrant for DWLS.

July 19, 3:45 a.m., Wasilla Carrs parking lot: Keith D. Clark, 48, and Clinton Caress, 37, both arrested on warrants. Clark’s warrant: failure to appear on DWLS charge. Bail: $2,500. Caress’ warrant: failure to appear at arraignment on reckless driving charge. Bail: $1,000.

July 20, Little Susitna River at Schrock Rd.: Wildlife troopers arrested Justin Hinton, 25, Wasilla, on two warrants: a $1,000 warrant for failure to comply with alcohol treatment and a $500 warrant for DWLR.

July 21, 12:53 a.m., Big Lake Lodge Rd.: Phillip R. Thompson Jr., 50, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to remand to prison on DUI, DWLR and no insurance charges. No bail.

July 15, 9:57 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Weber St.: Zackariah Parrish, 26, Willow, stopped by a trooper who knew his license was suspended. Summons: DWLS.

July 21, 9:45 a.m., Nissen Dr.: Robert W. Robinson, 83, Palmer, found to have died of natural causes.

July 16, 3:10 a.m., Mat-Su Regional Medical Center: Shannon W. Bartholomew, 29, Wasilla, allegedly drove to the hospital intoxicated with a child in the car. Charges: DUI, child endangerment, driving on an instructional permit. Bail: $1,500.

July 17, 4:23 a.m., Parks Hwy. near Wasilla Lake: Daniel A. Glatz, 20, Wasilla, stopped for moving and equipment violations. Charges: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $500.

July 17, 11:30 p.m., Church Rd. and Parks Hwy.: Brandon C. Baxtor, 28, Wasilla, stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

July 17, 11:49 p.m., Wasilla McDonald’s parking lot: Corrina McCord, 47, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: DUI, child endangerment.

July 18, 10:52 a.m., Vine Rd. near Parks Hwy.: Troopers responding to a disturbance between a man and a woman in a black pickup arrested Ivan Usoltseff, 31, of Wasilla on two warrants for failure to appear: One on DWLR charges and one on assault charges. New charges: Assault, DUI, child endangerment, DWLR.

July 18, 1:11 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Cottle Lp.: Howard J. Jerue Jr., 34, Chugiak, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

July 20, 2:31 p.m., Wasilla: Kristin A. Dolchok stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test, violating release conditions. Bail: $3,000.

July 21, 12:53 a.m., Big Lake Lodge Rd. and Big Lake Rd.: Steven S. McIntyre, 43, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

July 21, 5:05 a.m., Wasilla: Ronnie M. Smith, 22, Anchorage, drove his pickup into the ditch. Charges: DUI, probation violation.

THEFT

July 16, 9:53 a.m., Caribou Rd.: Sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. someone stole a welder from a home. Loss: $1,200.

July 17, 10:13 p.m., Clayton Ave.: Three checks worth $550, a Dyson vacuum cleaner, a Nintendo Wii and a collection of jewelry were stolen from a home. Loss: $1,750.

July 19, 9:44 a.m., Evergreen Nursery: The business was burglarized and $1,000 cash stolen.

July 22, 1:45 a.m., Trunk Rd. near Parks Hwy.: A 22-year-old Wasilla man reported that he’d left his Dodge pickup at the Park and Ride and when he got back from work found his driver’s side window had been smashed and his checkbook, pocketknife, CD case and one CD had been taken. Damage and loss: $450.

WILDLIFE VIOLATIONS

July 15, Moose Creek: Walter M. Davenport, 46, Palmer, cited for fishing in a closed season and failing to release a snagged king salmon.

July 16, Moose Creek: Timothy J. Metcalf, 27, Wasilla, was allegedly observed snagging and keeping a king salmon. Citations: fishing in a closed season, failure to release a snagged king salmon.

July 16, Moose Creek: Kristopher D. Faller, 32, Palmer, cited for fishing in a closed season, fishing without a license and attempting to snag a king salmon.

July 16, Moose Creek: Thomas M. Brawford, 43, Palmer, spotted using a net to take a king salmon. Citations: Unlawful methods and means, possessing illegally taken salmon.

July 20, Fish Creek: Michael Reagan, 37, Big Lake, cited for attempting to snag a king salmon and fishing in closed waters.

July 20, Little Susitna River at Schrock Rd.: Seth Thomas, 25, Wasilla, cited for fishing in closed waters.

July 20, Little Susitna River at Schrock Rd.: Justin Hinton, 25, Wasilla, cited for fishing in closed waters and fishing without a license.

 

PROBATION VIOLATION

July 17, 8:25 a.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy.: Sonny Thompson, 25, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation, arrested for violating the conditions of his probation. No bail.

July 19, 6:39 p.m., Mile 14 Old Glenn Hwy.: Jaime Rea Greywolf, 34, Butte, stopped for speeding, arrested for allegedly violating probation by consuming alcohol. No bail.

ASSAULT

July 18, 8:55 a.m., Mile 16 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: A male flagged troopers down to say his cousin, Robert L. Norris, 26, Wasilla, assaulted him. Assault charges will be sent to the District Attorney.

July 20, 2:50 p.m.: Dennis Urbanksi, 54, Palmer, arrested for assault. No bail set.

July 21, 1:35 a.m.: Ronald JC Hayes, 34, Wasilla, arrested for assault. No bail set.

July 21, 10:37 p.m.: Silver Ct.: Joel Elson, 49, Wasilla, arrested for assault. No bail pending arraignment.

July 22, 1:35 a.m.: Doubletree Rd.: Joseph E. Marcinek, 30, Wasilla, arrested for assault. No bail set.

ACCIDENTS

July 17, 12:09 a.m., Mile 95 Parks Hwy.: Christopher Grabowski, 39, Houston, southbound in his 2007 Dodge pickup, lost control, hit the ditch and rolled several times. Minor injuries. Pickup totaled.

July 14, 3:02 a.m., Kashim Inn: John Sledge, 21, Wasilla, was issued a disorderly conduct warning and drug paraphernalia was seized from his motel room.

ACCIDENTS

July 15, 10:01 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Lucille St.: Beverley Stoaks of Wasilla allegedly ran a red light and hit Kristia Hoppe of Wasilla.

July 15, 4:51 p.m., Weber St. and Parks Hwy.: Keith Asche, 18, Wasilla, rear-ended Megan McDonald, 18, Wasilla, who rear-ended Joshua Gillow, 30, Wasilla.

July 15, 5:02 p.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy. and Fireweed Dr.: Carole Scherrer, 41, Sutton, entered the road from a driveway and hit Rose Thompson, 28, Palmer. Minor injuries. Scherrer cited for not yielding.
