July 23, 12:13 a.m., North Shore Dr.: Carl Thiele, 22, Big Lake, issued a summons for DWLS.

July 25, 3:33 a.m., Bonaparte Ave. near Desiree Cir.: Adrian A. Latocha, 21, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DWLS. Bail: $250.

WARRANTS

July 22, 5:30 p.m., Old Glenn Hwy. and E. Marilyn Dr.: Andrew T. Stroud, 25, Palmer, arrested at a traffic stop on warrants for criminal mischief and failure to appear on DUI charge. New charge: DWLR. Bail: $2,500.

July 23, 6:20 a.m., Nelson Rd. and Fetlock Dr.: John F. Caverly Jr., 24, Palmer, arrested on warrant for forgery. Bail: $5,000.

July 23, 9:30 a.m., Sutton: Michael Greene, 22, Sutton, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLR charge. Bail: $750.

July 23, 6:30 p.m., Seward-Meridian Pkwy. near Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Arlo Bradstreet, 23, Palmer, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant for failure to appear in court on theft charge.

July 24, 12:24 a.m., Jim Creek: Peter S. Khamphanh, 19, Anchorage, arrested on Anchorage and Palmer warrants for failure to appear in court on DUI and NVOL charges. Bail: $2,500.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

July 22, 1:27 p.m., Mile 4 Big Lake Road: Wayne Howard Hill, 63, Big Lake, collapsed and died while walking home. Foul play is not suspected.

July 24, 3:03 a.m., Wasilla: Terri A. Wisthoff, 47, Wasilla, reportedly died following a long-term illness.

MISUSE OF PLATES

July 23, 8:30 p.m., Colony Schools Rd.: Charles Blackshear, 44, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Summons: Misuse of plates. Citation: Speeding

ACCIDENTS

July 23, 8:50 p.m., Seldon Rd. and Wasilla-Fishhook Rd.: Taylor D. Locke, 18, Wasilla, eastbound driving a 1996 Ford Explorer, attempted a left turn and hit a Pontiac G6 driven by Deborah L. Kitzman, 60, North Dakota. No injuries. Locke cited for not yielding.

July 24, 2:30 p.m., Mile 89.5 Parks Hwy.: Ryan Cunningham, 32, Anchorage, drifted across the fog line, catching his tire on the gravel, overcorrected to the left, veered sideways onto the road, rolling twice before coming to rest on his tires 20 feet off the road. Cunningham flown to Anchorage with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

DUI

July 24, 8 a.m., Fraki St. and Bootleggers Pl.: Collins Avessuk, 23, Wasilla, contacted at home after he’d allegedly driven off the road and ended up upside down. Charges: DUI, failure to give notice of an accident, no proof of insurance, DWLR.

July 24, 11:45 p.m., Old Glenn Hwy. and N. Gulkana St.: Douglas B. Meyer, 28, Palmer, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

July 25, 6:22 a.m., Big Lake Rd. and Hollywood Rd.: Sayda A. Olrun, 27, Willow, stopped for a traffic violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

PROBATION VIOLATION

July 24, 6:30 a.m., Mile 2 Big Lake Rd.: Thilo Jammes, 23, on probation for burglary, allegedly violated his probation terms. No bail.

ASSAULT

July 23, 8:40 p.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: James D. Kroener, 19, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and caused $500 damage to her vehicle. Charges: Assault, criminal mischief.

July 24, 12:45 a.m.: Karl Carl Jr., 38, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member. No bail set.

PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATION

July 25, 4:20 a.m., Hollywood Rd.: David Batt, 61, Wasilla, allegedly violated a domestic violence protective order. No bail set.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

July 25, 1:45 a.m., Lions Ct.: Troopers responding to a party in  a gravel pit issued summonses to a 17-year-old girl for underage drinking and a 16-year-old boy for underage drinking and possessing a prohibited weapon.

July 24, 7:26 p.m., Birch Creek: Nicholas L. Baker, 29, Talkeetna, cited for fishing after the season closed.

July 24, Willow Creek: Jennifer L. Oliver, 26, Eagle River, cited for using multiple hooks in a single-hook area.

July 25, Fish Creek: Nathan Puzey, 28, Wasilla, cited for fishing in closed waters.

July 25, Fish Creek: Roman Freeman, 28, Anchorage, cited for fishing in closed waters.

July 25, Fish Creek: Roger Jones, 33, Wasilla, cited for fishing in closed waters.

July 25, Lake Creek: Austin Lampert, 51, Olympia, Wash., cited for fishing with two lines and not having life vests in his boat.

July 20, Movie Gallery: Police recovered an abandoned bicycle.

THEFT

July 20: A 55-year-old Palmer woman reported her purse stolen from her work.

July 20: A 48-year-old Palmer man reported several items stolen from his home.

July 20: Troy Piper, 22, Palmer, arrested for shoplifting and trespassed for life from all Fred Meyer stores. Bail: $250, to be released when sober.

July 20: A 47-year-old Palmer woman reported someone entered her home and stole medications.

VANDALISM

July 20, S. Bailey St.: Police investigated vandalism to a shed.

July 24: A window was broken from a heavy-duty construction vehicle left unattended overnight.

ACCIDENT

July 21, W. Arctic Ave.: Scottie Withers, 52, Wasilla, hit a light pole driving a 1987 Kenworth commercial truck.

July 22, Glenn Hwy. and W. Caribou Ave.: A Palmer 17-year-old hit a vehicle driven by Christian M. Blankenship, 41, Palmer. Teen cited for not yielding.

July 26: A 39-year-old Palmer man reported someone hit his motorhome while it was parked in front of his home.

DWLS

July 23: Tiffany Renee Bishop, 30, Sutton, issued a summons for DWLS.

July 23: Sophia Elena Tabios, 20, Palmer, arrested for DWLS. Bail: $250.

TRESPASSING

July 22: Jesse Westcoast, 49, Wasilla, arrested for trespassing. Bail: $250.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

July 25: Wade Randolph Riggs, 29, Palmer, arrested for disorderly conduct in the café of a local hotel. He was jailed until sober.
