We do need green energy to be phased in gradually. I'm glad you like hydro, the Susitna River is prime. Try getting that past Friends of MatSu. Wind power? Great but those greenie Kennedys say NO as turbines out their window degade their view. It is ok elsewhere. Solar? What should have happened in Alaska is: 1. utilize some of the states money to build a smelting plant to recycle aluminum.
2. start an aluminum can recycling program , like they do in the south, it would drastically reduce trash on our roads, and lessen the amount in the landfills.
Would lessen the amount of panhandlers as well.
But what do we know, we're just peasants! "
