WARRANTS

July 27: John J. Delkittie, 40, Palmer, arrested on $250 warrant for failure to appear in court on shoplifting charge. New charge: Violating release conditions. July 27: Carl Floyd McDearman Jr., 51, Palmer, arrested during an animal complaint investigation on Washington warrant for escaping from community custody with original charges of harassment, assaulting law enforcement and resisting arrest.

July 31: A 16-year-old male was arrested on a $200 warrant for failure to appear on a failure to stop for a police officer charge.

Aug. 2: Baron Apayauq Maclean, 30, Palmer, arrested on $1,000 warrant for failure to complete alcohol treatment on a DUI charge.

DWLR

July 27: Daniel L. Pearson, 29, Palmer, issued a summons for DWLR.

DUI

July 27, S. Felton St.: Rhonda Walker, 27, Palmer, found to have rolled her car and allegedly to have left the scene of an accident at Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Equestrian St. She was hospitalized. Charges of DUI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident were sent to the district attorney.

July 28: Charles R. Hodges Jr., 25, Palmer, arrested for DUI and DWLR. Bail: $6,000.

THEFT

July 29, S. Chugach St.: A 70-year-old Palmer woman reported her granddaughter’s Mongoose bicycle stolen.

July 31: A 41-year-old Palmer woman reported multiple items stolen from her vehicle while it was parked behind the Moosehead Saloon.

July 31: A 39-year-old Palmer man reported stereo equipment stolen from his vehicle while it was parked behind the Moosehead Saloon.

July 31, S. Colony Wy.: A 12-year-old Palmer boy reported his wallet stolen from a parked vehicle.

Aug. 1, Palmer Chevron: A customer in an older red Dodge pickup with Idaho plates left without paying for $326.67 in diesel fuel.

PAROLE VIOLATION

July 30: Amber Kathleen Chase, 37, Palmer, arrested for allegedly violating parole on a burglary charge. New charge: providing false information to a police officer. Bail: $500.

INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATION

July 31: A 15-year-old Palmer boy was issued a summons for driving in violation of an instructional permit.

FOUND PROPERTY

Aug. 1: A wallet belonging to Lorraine E. Jones, 43, Bethel, was turned in to the police.

ASSAULT

Aug. 1: A 40-year-old Palmer man was arrested for domestic violence assault.

Aug. 2: An 11-year-old Palmer boy was arrested for assault.

July 31, 1:47 a.m., Wasilla: R.E. Clement, 80, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

Aug. 2, 1:05 p.m., Bogdenburg Lp.: Milan Martinek, 67, Palmer, found to have died of natural causes.

July 30, 9:50 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Weber Dr.: Vicki L. Holt, 47, stopped for erratic driving. Charges: NVOL, no proof of insurance.

July 31, 4:27 a.m., Midnight Sun Dr. and Pittman Rd.: Justin Keel, 30, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on $1,000 warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge. Bail: $1,000.

July 31, 1:21 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Vienna Woods Dr.: Billy L. Sims, 42, Wasilla, stopped for having his taillights out. Summons: DWLS.

DUI

July 31, 2:22 a.m., Trunk Rd. and Parks Hwy.: Roger G. Kaiser, 57, Anchorage stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI-drugs. Bail: $500.

July 31, 8:42 a.m., Mile 40: A purple Dodge pickup was reportedly drifting off the road and hit a guardrail. The driver, Nicole Lynn Finch, 24, Wasilla, was arrested for DUI. Bail: $500.

July 31, 4:12 p.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: Kathy A. Needles, 46, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DUI-drugs.

Aug. 1, 4:20 a.m., Seldon Rd. near Wasilla-Fishhook Rd.: A 17-year-old Wasilla girl was stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $250.

Aug. 1, 7:40 p.m., Meadow Lakes Dr.: Karina Pevan, 41, Wasilla, lost control of her 2006 Chevrolet Suburban, drove across a lawn and hit an electrical box. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test. Bail: $1,000. No injuries. Damage to the vehicle, yard and electrical box: $15,000.

Aug. 1, 8:41 p.m., E. Kathleen Cir.: David B. Kelley, 38, Palmer, arrested at a disturbance investigation for allegedly driving his motorcycle drunk just before the disturbance. Charge: DUI. Bail: $5,000.

ACCIDENT

July 31, 6:34 p.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: Milysha Weaver, 43, Houston, driving a blue 1988 Chevrolet pickup, rear-ended a green 1993 Ford Tempo driven by a 41-year-old Wasilla man, then left. Weaver found at home and cited for leaving the scene of an accident. No injuries. Damage to both vehicles: $2,000.

Aug. 1, 6:25 p.m., Seldon Rd. and Cambay Dr.: Barbara Crozier, 51, Wasilla, hit a moose while northbound. No human injuries. Damage: $2,500.

ASSAULT

July 31, 8:59 p.m., Mile 103 Parks Hwy.: Orrin Pinard, 21, Talkeetna, allegedly broke down a front door and assaulted a family member. Charges: Assault, criminal mischief. No bail set.

Aug. 1, 5:22 a.m., Wasilla: Matthew L. Hoffman, 41, Wasilla, allegedly drove to a home while impaired and assaulted a family member. Charges: DUI, assault, refusing a chemical test. No bail set.
