1. U.S. has the poorest quality health care of all the industrialized nations.
2. U.S. has the most expensive health care of all the industrialized nations.
|
|
4. U.S. life expectancy is 2.5 years less than any of the industrial nations.
5. U.S. has the most expensive medication costs of any of the industrial nations.
The U.S. is the richest nation in the world and has the least concern for the health of its citizens.
If we combine Medicare, Medicaid, Indian health and veterans health into one agency, there is enough money to provide health care for every American.

The Reagan economy was a one-hit wonder. Yes, there was a boom in the mid-1980s, as the economy recovered from a severe recession. But while the rich got much richer, there was little sustained economic improvement for most Americans. By the late 1980s, middle-class incomes were barely higher than they had been a decade before — and the poverty rate had actually risen.
Over all grade- D- an abject failure. If not for star gazing books this clown would have been nothing. "

The only viable option to decrease cost is the public option-Period!! The killing off grandma nuts are thriving with delusion. "

Insurance companies have been making high profits, and have been subsidized. They are going to keep doing well regardless of what happens. For example, UPS is doing fine even though we have the U.S. Postal Service.
For too long, big insurance companies have been winning, but too many Americans have been losing out.
To keep what we have, or eliminate the government option, only benefits big insurance corporations while it hurts the people of America. "

Same for every country where socialized health care has been instituted.
Sounds good on paper, but doesn't work.
What to do to lower cost in the U.S.?
1. Eliminate the unfunded mandates for illegal alien health care.
2. Tort reform.
3. Reduce the paperworik for medicare/medicaid. "

HR3200 doesn't say "Death Panel". But mandates end-of-life talk to the insured over age 65 every 5 years. HR3200 has time released mandates passed to States on Medicaid etc. Then there will be "death panels" like those in Oregon where they have a "limited Euthansia State"; and other States. "
