Aug. 15, Willow Creek: Robert Lipovsky, 32, Eagle River, cited for for fishing with multiple hooks in single hook waters.

Aug. 15, 9:57 p.m., Knik River below Jim Creek: Kevin E. Watson, 50, Anchorage, cited for attempting to snag a fish.

Aug. 15, 6:12 p.m., Fish Creek below Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Ethan L. Johnson, 19, Wasilla, cited for fishing in closed waters.

TRESPASSING

Aug. 17, 3:17 a.m., Barrington Lp.: Patrick Pribilo, 43, Talkeetna, arrested for DWLR. Bail: $750.

Aug. 17, 5:10 a.m., Knik-Goose Bay Rd. and Donovan Rd.: Jeffery M. Kowal, 25, Wasilla, issued a summons for DWLR and a citation for lacking proof of insurance.

DUI

Aug. 16, 4:36 p.m., Mile 55 Glenn Hwy.: Raldo C. Estridge, 59, Eagle River, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: Felony DUI. Bail: $10,000.

Aug. 16, 4:50 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Sylvan Rd.: Deborah G. Johnson, 50, Wasilla, arrested for DUI. Bail: $500.

Aug. 17, 11:07 p.m., Knik-Goose Bay Rd. near Point MacKenzie: Joshua Rivera, 30, Anchorage, drove his Isuzu Rodeo into the ditch. Charge: DUI. Vehicle damage; $4,000. Bail: $1,000.

ASSAULT

Aug. 16, 8:21 p.m., Julie Marie Dr.: Ed Koch, 55, Palmer, arrested for allegedly assaulting a family member. No bail set.

Aug. 16, 9:43 p.m., N. Smith Rd.: A Palmer 16-year-old was arrested for allegedly assaulting a family member.

Aug. 18, 1:36 a.m., Grantham Rd.: Breanna Baldwin, 23, Wasilla, arrested highly intoxicated at a disturbance for allegedly assaulting a family member. No bail set.

DRUGS

Aug. 17, 12:47 a.m., Mile 50 Parks Hwy.: Kevin Spencer, 29, Houston, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: Marijuana possession. Bail: $5,000.

WARRANTS

Aug. 17, 9:30 a.m., Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility: Paul D. Weston, 30, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for drug misconduct. Bail: $20,000.

Aug. 17, 11:20 a.m., E. Carney Rd.: Andrew J. Kirkland, 24, Wasilla, arrested on a warrant for drug misconduct. Bail: $10,000.

Aug. 18, 1:34 a.m., Quiet Cir.: 1:34 a.m.: A 16-year-old Fairbanks girl was arrested on a warrant for violating the conditions of her release. New charge; Providing false information to police. No bail set.

VIOLATING A RESTRAINING ORDER

Aug. 17, 3:08 p.m., N. Alma Dr.: Mischa Deguia, 19, Wasilla, arrested for allegedly violating a domestic violence restraining order. No bail set.

PROBATION VIOLATION

Aug. 17, 8:30 p.m., Vine Rd. and Parks Hwy.: Angelo Keys, 34, Anchorage, arrested at a disturbance for allegedly violating his probation by consuming alcohol. No bail set.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

Aug. 9, 9:45 a.m.: A woman reported her car was broken into and her gun stolen.

Aug. 13, 5:30 p.m., Wasilla High School: A 20-year-old Wasilla woman reported someone stole her purse.

Aug. 14, 8:09 p.m.: A 76-year-old Wasilla man reported his van was stolen after an employee drove it to the flophouse the employee was staying in on Wesglenn Cir. Someone took the keys and the van. The man called back the next day to say the van had been returned to the flophouse.

Aug. 15, 7:14 p.m., Shoprite: A juvenile male was stopped for shoplifting $1.37 in merchandise. Charges are being sent to Juvenile Judicial Services.

Aug. 16, 10:12 a.m., Vaunda Ave.: A 40-year-old Wasilla man reported a gun stolen from his vehicle parked outside his home.

Aug. 17, 10:20 a.m.: A 41-year-old Eagle River man reported someone stole $700 cash from the Chevrolet dealership in Wasilla.

Aug. 17, 3:13 p.m., Wasilla Lake Park: A 17-year-old Wasilla girl reported her purse and a laptop stolen from a vehicle.

DUI

Aug. 14, 1:39 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Main St.: Michael Scudder, 43, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: DUI, DWLR. Bail: $2,500.

WARRANTS

Aug. 15, 1:23 a.m.: James Hawk, 20, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on misdemeanor warrant. New charge: DWLS. Bail: $500.

Aug. 15, 11:31 p.m., Melanie Ave.: David Cheng arrested by officers assisting medics on $250 warrant for failure to appear on a DWLS charge.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Aug. 15, 4:20 a.m., Mug Shot Saloon: Clinton Morehouse, 25, had to be detained by bar security. Charge: Disorderly Conduct. Jailed until released on his own recognizance.

ACCIDENTS

Aug. 15, 1:33 a.m., Mug Shot Saloon: Roger Bryan, 44, Wasilla, said someone backed into his pickup and drove off. Police tracked down the other driver, Leah Smothers, 51, Wasilla, and issued her a summons for leaving the scene of an accident. Smothers’ damage: $2,500. Bryan’s damage: $500-$1,000.

 

DAMAGED PROPERTY

Aug. 15, 3:18, Parks Hwy. and Knik St.: Police investigated a dispute between Reed Moore, 29, Anchorage, and Mark Teitzel, 55, Anchorage. Moore allegedly removed property fencing and stakes from Teitzel’s land. Charges will be sent to the District Attorney.
