DRUGS

Aug. 30, 2:17 p.m., Mile 33 Glenn Hwy.: Kao Saechao, 25, Anchorage, stopped for speeding. Summons: Marijuana possession.

Aug. 30: Stephanie Lowry, 23, Anchorage, issued a summons after marijuana was allegedly found in her car.

DUI

Aug. 30: Carrie Rhonda Krull, 31, Palmer, arrested for DUI. Bail: $500.

Aug. 30: John D. Nix, 26, Palmer, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: DUI, refusing a chemical test.

ACCIDENTS

Aug. 28, 12:46 p.m., Glenn Hwy. near Parks Hwy.: Jordyn Livingston, 20, Palmer, westbound driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla, hit a motorhome driven by Richard Hamblen, 62, Palmer, who had stopped before proceeding onto the highway. Livingston hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles towed.

Aug. 29, 5:28 p.m., Mile 85.5 Glenn Hwy.: Scott Emery, 48, Anchorage, driving a red Honda Goldwing motorcycle, hit a moose. Emery hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Motorcycle disabled.

Aug. 29, 11:14 p.m., Crimsonview Dr. and Glenn Hwy.: A 1995 Ford Explorer driven by Nathan Andre, 19, Anchorage, was turning left when it hit a 2004 Winnebago driven by David Ham, 63, Florida. No injuries. Andre cited for not yielding.

Aug. 31, Mile 84 Glenn Hwy.: Amanda Lee Miles, 30, Chugiak, northbound driving a black 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, lost control on loose gravel and hit the guardrail. David Arnold Nelson, 49, Big Lake, was behind her, took evasive action, and also crashed. Both motorcycles damaged but drivable. Miles hospitalized with minor injuries. Nelson didn’t require medical attention.

ELUDING ARREST

Aug. 27, Fred Meyer Parking Lot, Palmer: A complainant reported seeing marijuana in a vehicle. The vehicle’s only occupant, Warren Crenshaw, sped away when troopers tried to stop him, then fled on foot. Charges: Eluding arrest, drug misconduct, tampering with physical evidence.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Aug. 30, 10:54 a.m., Klouda Cir.: Ross Prior, 67, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATION

Aug. 29, 5:10 p.m., Mile 36.5 Glenn Hwy.: A 17-year-old Anchorage boy was stopped for a passing violation. Summons: driving on an instructional permit.

Aug. 30: A 17-year-old Palmer boy was stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: Driving in violation of an instructional permit. Citation: No proof of insurance.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

Aug. 28, 7 p.m., Fred Meyer: An employee reported her iPhone was stolen while she was at work.

Aug. 29, 2:40 a.m.: A vehicle stopped for running a stop sign allegedly had stolen property inside.

Aug. 29, 10:01 a.m., Home Depot: Employees called to say a 5-by-8-foot utility trailer worth $1,500 had been stolen from the parking lot.

Aug. 29, 1:49 p.m., Evangelo’s restaurant: A man reported someone broke the window out of his vehicle and stole his jacket. Damage: $500. Loss: $150.

Aug. 30, 10:10 a.m.: A man came to the station to report his girlfriend’s son had stolen a helmet and goggles from his Danna Street home.

Aug. 30, 5:29 p.m.: A 29-year-old Kenai man reported someone stole a handgun and some CDs from his vehicle.

Aug. 30, 9:27 p.m.: A 25-year-old Palmer man called to report someone stole a Ruger .45-caliber handgun, an iPod Touch and a jacket from his vehicle. Loss: $1,000.

DUI

Aug. 28, 11:42 p.m.: Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The 16-year-old driver was arrested for DUI and released to her father. A 16-year-old passenger was issued a summons for underage drinking.

Aug. 29, 11:31 p.m.: Richard Larsen, 48, Palmer, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: NVOL, DUI. Bail: $5,000.

    " Isn't it odd that a person reported that a gun, ipod and jacket were stolen from him when those items were reported missing from ohter people the day before "

    " Were the doors locked on the vehicles with the guns when thay were stolen. If i dont have my gun on me i put it out of sight and lock the doors "
