ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

DUI

Sept. 2, 10:08 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near N. 49th State St.: Herbert D. Walker, 48, Palmer, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: Felony DUI. Bail: $5,000.

Sept. 3, 9:32 a.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: Nicole L. Finch, 24, Wasilla, northbound driving a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer, went into the ditch. No injuries. Charges: DUI, no proof of insurance, expired license. Bail: $5,000.

Sept. 4, 8:32 p.m., Mile 13 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Thomas Rodamer, 66, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Sept. 5, 1:32 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Vine Rd.: Robert Sledge, 49, Anchorage, stopped for a moving violation. Charges; DUI, DWLS, no insurance. Bail: $5,250.

Sept. 5, 2:34 a.m., Parks Hwy. and McCallister Rd.: Daniel J. McDermott, 25, Wasilla, stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI, marijuana possession. Bail: $3,000.

Sept. 5, 10:27 p.m., Randall’s Rd.: Alicia J. Lawrence, 34, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

ACCIDENTS

Sept. 1, 8:35 a.m., Bogard Rd. and Northshore Rd.: Kevin Hardy, 41, Anchorage, eastbound in a 1995 Honda Accord, crossed the centerline and hit a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Sherry Gallagher, 51, Wasilla. Hardy and Gallagher were both hospitalized. Hardy cited for driving left of center.

Sept. 2, 7:25 p.m., Fireweed Rd. and Fairview Lp.: Odia Stewart, 21, Palmer, fell asleep at the wheel, left the road and hit a speed limit sign. Stewart had minor injuries. Damage: $5,000. Citation: Negligent driving.

Sept. 2, 8 p.m., Riverdell rd. and Fairview Lp.: Kristine Shern, 22, Anchorage, northbound, lost control, skidded across the oncoming lane and rolled her 2007 Subaru Legacy. Shern hospitalized.

Sept. 3, 5:29 p.m., Glenn Hwy. at Inner Springer Lp.: Cassandra Sullivan, 23, Palmer, westbound, driving a n older Ford pickup, swerved to avoid a vehicle that pulled out in front of her, sideswiping a newer Ford pickup driven eastbound by Joe Webster, 53, Palmer. Sullivan cited for no insurance and expired registration. No injuries.

Sept. 4, 4:43 p.m., Mile 36 Glenn Hwy.: Nathan L. Cambell, 30, Palmer, rear-ended a Ford pickup being driven by Michael Steele, 37, Palmer. Cambell cited for not exercising due care.

Sept. 5, 2:06 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Silvia Carlson, 53, Palmer, driving a white 2003 Chevrolet flatbed pickup in the center turn lane, tried to move into traffic and hit a blue 1991 Chevrolet pickup. Both vehicles disabled. Carlson cited for not exercising due care.

Sept. 5, 2:27 p.m., Bogard Rd.: Gregory Allen Mann, 59, Palmer, lost control of his older model Chevrolet pickup, left the road and went into the trees. No injures.

THEFT

Sept. 1, 6:50 a.m., N. Tagach View Dr.: An amplifier and a pair of speakers were stolen from a car. The car stereo was damaged. Loss: $330. Damage: $400.

ACCIDENTS

Sept. 5, 2:37 p.m., Glenn Hwy. near Kepler Dr.: Mara Chamberlain, 26, Anchorage, following another vehicle too close, traffic slowed, and she hit a Volvo driven by Theodore Lindblom, 49, Wasilla. Chamberlain cited for following to close and expired registration. Lindblom’s two children hospitalized with minor injuries.

Sept. 5, 4:20 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near E. Meridian Lp.: Chad R. Jameson, 20, Wasilla, rear-ended Daniel J. Potter, 19, Wasilla, who, in turn, rear-ended Rebecca L. Hughes, 33, Palmer. No injuries.

Sept. 6, Old Glenn Hwy. and Plumley Rd.: Paul C. Hosier, 21, Wasilla, westbound, allegedly ran a blinking red light and hit a Dodge pickup being driven by Douglas A. Lange, 48, of Palmer. Lange, Hosier, and his passenger Shawn Phillips-Tonlinson, 19, Wasilla, were hospitalized. Hosier cited for running the light and no proof of insurance. Both vehicles were totaled. 

ASSAULT

Sept. 1, 1:26 p.m., Twilight Dr.: Lavella J. Mindiola, 49, Wasilla, issued a summons for misdemeanor assault.

Sept. 3, 12:54 p.m., N. Kentucky Derby Dr.: Rick Bloom, 48, Palmer, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

Sept. 4, 11:15 p.m.: Nicholas Juarez, 24, Palmer, arrested at a disturbance. Charge: Assault.

Sept. 5, 12:37 p.m., Anaheim St.: Emma Bernice Quint, 18, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Domestic violence assault. No bail set.
