Paul was a godly husband and friend, a kind gentle, loving, forgiving and generous caretaker of people and animals. He just enjoyed life at its best every day. Known to his grandchildren as “Pop” he was a mentor for all children. He was old-fashioned, worked with his hands, thought things through, lived with his heart. Though he never had to say “I love you” he showed it in his devotion, acts, giving and life itself.
Paul is survived by his wife, Ramona of Palmer; son, Paul R. Vogel and his wife Robin of Annandale, Va.; son Jerry C. Vogel and his wife Connie of Kitzmiller, Md.; daughter, Bonnie Vogel of Orange, Va.; daughter Chick Clark and her husband Bill of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Paul Patrick Vogel of Annandale, Brian Vogel and Jason Vogel both of Atlanta, Ga., Angela Meeks of Gordonsville, Va., Andrea Overstreet of Oakland, Va., Wan Vogel of Fairfax, Va., and Sandy Clark and Billy Clark both of Fredericksburg,Va.
