Sept. 21: Joseph F. Henson, 19, Palmer, cited for DWLS.

Sept. 23: Laurie A. Blythe, 36, Palmer, arrested for DWLR and violating the conditions of her release. Bail: $1,500.

Sept. 26: Harry D. Lyons II, 27, Palmer, arrested for DWLC and jailed but later released on his own recognizance.

ACCIDENTS

Sept. 23: A 34-year-old Houston man reported his car had been hit and the other driver had fled.

FRAUD

Sept. 23: A 25-year-old Palmer woman reported fraudulent activity on her check card.

NVOL

Sept. 24: David T. Macmillan, 58, Palmer, arrested for NVOL. Bail: $250.

Sept. 24: Terry Allen Keck, 38, Anchorage, issued a summons for misuse of license plates and NVOL. Theft charges will be sent to the District Attorney as Keck was allegedly in possession of a stolen license plate.

Sept. 25: Rae A. Lee, 20, Anchorage, issued a summons for NVOL.

Sept. 27: Sam Ezi, 67, Palmer, issued a summons for NVOL.

DRUGS

Sept. 24: Justin T. Hoeldt, 32, Palmer, arrested on six counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance and on a warrant for failure to appear in court on drug misconduct, violating release conditions and DWLR charges. No bail.

Sept. 26: Richard D. Vowell, 19, Palmer, charged with marijuana possession.

THEFT

Sept. 27: An 18-year-old Palmer woman reported someone stole her laundry from the coin-operated washing machine where she lives.

WARRANT

Sept. 25: Lorie B. Luzader, 44, Palmer, arrested on $500 warrant for disorderly conduct.

Sept. 25: Alicia M. Press, 29, Palmer, arrested on $5,000 warrant for theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and forgery.

Sept. 26: Benjamin A. Carney II, 33, Palmer, arrested on $5,000 warrant for theft, fraudulent use of an access device and forgery.

FOUND PROPERTY

Sept. 25: Duane W. Minkler, 64, Palmer, reported several items found in the front yard of MTR. Police collected the items as found property.

DUI

Sept. 22, 8:26 a.m., Parks Hwy.: Jerome Jones, 39, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $2,500.

RUNAWAY

Sept. 22, 1:06 p.m.: A woman reported her 17-year-old daughter had run away from home. The daughter was last seen at 9:30 p.m. the night before.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Sept. 22, 8:26 a.m., Wasilla Senior complex: Ruth Conrad, 86, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

DRIVING ON AN INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT

Sept. 24, 4:33 p.m.: A 17-year-old Wasilla boy was stopped on a complaint from the public. Summons: Driving on an instructional permit.

VANDALISM

Sept. 25, Alaska Transportation and Industry Museum: An exterior fence was cut and an outbuilding broken into.

WARRANTS

Sept. 22, 4:23 p.m., Fred Meyer: Justin Dolan, 18, Eagle River, stopped for allegedly shoplifting, arrested on trooper warrants for nine counts of theft and one each of fraud and criminal impersonation. Bail: $3,000.

Sept. 24, 5:21 a.m., Lone Cub Dr.: Angela Nelson, 18, Wasilla, contacted after a showing up drunk at a complainant’s apartment, arrested on warrant for failure to comply with alcohol screening and failure to appear in court. New charge: Underage drinking. Bail: $250.

Sept. 26, 11:43 a.m.: Police investigating an accident arrested Elizabeth Rexord, 45, and Jerry Hawley, 58, both of Anchorage, on $250 warrants for failure to appear in court.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

Sept. 24, 4:42 a.m., Lone Cub Dr.: Police investigating a disturbance found no disturbance but cited Angela Bouslaugh, 20, Wasilla, for underage drinking.

Sept. 27, 2:30 a.m., Spruce Ave. and Laci Lp.: Nicholas Latocha, 18, Wasilla, stopped for speeding. Charges: Underage drinking, driving in violation of an instructional permit. Passenger Victoria Mahoney, 18, Wasilla, also charged with underage drinking.

Sept. 29, 1:56 a.m.: Roman Chebukin, 19, Wasilla, stopped for running a stop sign. Summonses: Underage drinking, minor driving after drinking.

ACCIDENTS

Sept. 21, 3:33 p.m., Post Office parking lot: A boy backed into a vehicle driven by Karen Mitchell, 43, Wasilla. Damage was minor.

Sept. 22, 10:40 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Trunk Rd.: Jennifer Kuentzel, 50, Wasilla, hit a moose. No human injuries. Moose donated to charity.

Sept. 24, 2:17 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Church Rd.: A Big Lake woman was westbound when she rear-ended a pickup driven by another Big Lake resident. No injuries. Damage moderate.

Sept. 24, 9:16, 9;16 p.m., Wasilla-Fishhook Rd.: A Wasilla resident hit a moose. The driver was unhurt.

Sept. 27, 12:28 p.m., Sportsman’s Warehouse: A Wasilla man reported someone backed into his truck and left the scene.

Sept. 27, 1:40 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Crusey St.: Two vehicles collided. One driver was cited for not exercising due care.

Sept. 22, 11:47 p.m., Holiday gas station: Police investigating a suspicious person issued a summons to Josie Harvey, 20, Anchorage, for marijuana possession.

Sept. 17, 7:23: Timothy Hulke, 22, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Police smelled marijuana. He and passenger Inez Walters, 22, Wasilla, were issued summonses for marijuana possession.

THEFT

Sept. 23, 10:13 a.m., Carrs: A Wasilla 46-year-old reported someone walked out of the store with two courts of Pennzoil worth $7 and left in a red pickup with Alaska plates FES154.

Sept. 22, 3:59 p.m., Evangelo’s: Whitney Kinsey, 22, Wasilla, allegedly stole cash from the register. Theft charges are being sent to the district attorney.

Sept. 24, 8:48 a.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. Ext.: A person reported that sometime during the night someone stole 100 gallons worth of diesel fuel from a job site.

Sept. 27, 9:57 p.m., Computer Solutions: The store was broken into and a laptop stolen.

Sept. 29, 2:38 p.m., Double J Mining and Jewelry: A man reportedly stole three expensive watches from a display case while an employee was distracted. Loss: $4,000.

Sept. 29, 2:01 a.m.: Heidi Lucus, 24, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic violation. Summons: DWLR.

Sept. 30, 1:12 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Theresa Sidrokstriti, 51, Wasilla, issued a summons for DWLS.

Sept. 27, 2:15 a.m., Mile 5 Big lake Rd.: Troopers investigating an SUV parked partially blocking the road arrested James L. Estes, 23, Wasilla, for DUI. Bail: $500.

Sept. 27, 3:37 a.m., Caryshea St.: Issac J. Thistle, 20, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance for DUI, underage drinking and minor driving after drinking. Bail: $500.

Sept. 27, 8:11 p.m., Mile 15 Old Glenn Hwy.: Troopers tried to pull over Jeffery Wilson, 54, Butte, who instead drove another 2.5 miles to his house. Charges: DUI, DWLR, eluding arrest, no insurance, misuse of plates. Bail: $1,000.

Sept. 26, 7:10 p.m., Mile 7 Talkeetna Spur Rd.: Mark Goodwin, 50, Talkeetna, arrested at home on $500 warrant for failure to complete alcohol screening on a DUI conviction.

Sept. 29, 8:36 p.m., Leora Dr.: Aaron P. Vanormer, 23, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance on a warrant for failure to satisfy conditions on a resisting arrest charge. Bail: $500.

Sept. 29, 9:45 p.m., King Arthur Dr. and Parks Hwy.: Zoeann Newhouse, 25, Wasilla, arrested on two warrants for failure to appear in court on a DWLS charge. Bail: $2,000.

Sept. 30, 2:50 a.m., Rainbow St.: Pamela Papasodora, 48, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court on a shoplifting charge. Bail: $250.

Sept. 28, 5:25 p.m., Mile 72 Parks Hwy.: Shawn Carlson, 36, Willow, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

Sept. 29, 2 a.m., Parks Hwy. at Stanley Dr.: Clinton A. Bush, 34, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLR.

Sept. 29, 2:19 a.m., Mack Rd. near Parks Hwy.: Nathan R. Swift, 32, Anchorage, stopped for a moving violation, allegedly tried to tell law enforcement the passenger had been driving. Charges: DWLS, providing false information. Bail: $500.

Sept. 30, 3:45 a.m., Lucille Rd. and Bonnie Jim Rd.: Crystal Fox, 23, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

WILDLIFE VIOLATIONS

Sept. 26, Buffalo Mine Rd.: Michael Swiantek, 45, issued a summons for allegedly shooting a sub-legal bull moose.

Sept. 27, Knik River: Damian Weaver, 18, Anchorage, cited for hunting birds with a shotgun that held more than three shells.

Sept. 27, Knik River: Ronald Weaver, 29, Anchorage, cited for hunting birds with a shotgun that held more than three shells.

INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATION

Sept. 29, 1:52 a.m., Eureka St. and Seldon Rd.: Liam Andrew Oshea-Grantham, 18, Wasilla, stopped for a traffic violation. Summons: Driving in violation of instructional permit.

REGISTRATION VIOLATION

Sept. 29, 6:24 a.m., Stacey St. and A St.: Shawn G. Schmidt, 24, Wasilla, issued a summons for having the wrong tab and an altered expiration date on his license plate.

DRUGS

Sept. 30, 6:47 a.m., Scarlet Dr.: Troopers took down a marijuana grow. Charges will be sent to the District Attorney.

    " It would be great if you could take a brush up class in your spelling and writing skills in general.In the Wasilla section under Theft for Sept.23,in the article describing the theft of oil from CARRS you've spelled QUARTS as COURTS.This makes me think that you're not up to the job you've been hired for.Sure,anyone could make such a mistake but your writing skills are very lacking and leave much to be desired. "
