ASSAULT

Oct. 4: Denali Rice, 33, Palmer, arrested for assault and disorderly conduct. Bail: $10,000.

DUI

Oct. 5: Donald A. Fiscus, 57, Palmer, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charges: Felony DUI and DWLR. Bail: $5,000.

Oct. 5: Christian James Wright, 36, Wasilla, stopped after multiple complaints from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Oct. 7: Leonard Nunooruk, 50, Fairbanks, arrested for DUI, violating his release conditions and on a warrant for violating probation on a sexual assault charge. No bail.

Oct. 8: Kimberly D. Kornfeind, 52, Palmer, arrested for DUI, DWLR and driving on a limited license. Bail: $2,500.

Oct. 9: Rosella Starr Sears, 41, Sutton, arrested for DUI, DWLS and marijuana possession. Bail: $2,000.

VANDALISM

Oct. 5: A 19-year-old Palmer woman reported someone had scratched her vehicle repeatedly the previous night.

WARRANTS

Oct. 7: A 16-year-old Palmer boy turned himself in on a $500 warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and driving on an instructional permit.

Oct. 8: Lorna Lei Olszak, 51, Wasilla, arrested on $250 warrant for failure to appear in court on NVOL charge.

Oct. 9: Justin Wade Gregory, 38, Wasilla, arrested on $750 warrant for failure to appear in court on a drunk on licensed premises charge. Just before being booked into jail, methamphetamines were found on his person. New charge: Drug misconduct. Bail: $1,000.

DWLSCR

Oct. 7: Kammy Rochelle Morris, 19, Wasilla, issued summonses for DWLR and underage drinking.

Oct. 9: Anthony P. Draino, 25, Palmer, issued a summons for DWLS.

NVOL

Oct. 7: Travis K. Lindsey, 19, Wasilla, issued a summons for NVOL and Cynthia Adams, 19, Wasilla, a summons for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

DRUGS

Oct. 9: Dominique M. Fletcher, 22, Anchorage, charged with marijuana possession.

Oct. 9: In and Out Deli: Scott Lee Meyer, 18, Palmer, issued summonses for marijuana possession and minor in possession of tobacco.

THEFT

Oct. 9: The Alaska State Fair reported money and equipment had been stolen from a maintenance building

Oct. 10: A 38-year-old Palmer man reported his bicycle had been stolen from his yard sometime the previous night. Another bicycle was left in its place and the police are holding it as found property.

Oct. 11: A 62-year-old Palmer man reported multiple items stolen from his motorcycle while it was parked outside his apartment.

DOG BITE

Oct. 11: A 50-year-old Palmer woman reported she’d been bitten by her dog. The dog was put on 10-day house quarantine.

DUI

Oct. 5, 4:12 a.m., Pettis Dr.: Joseph Bodunov, 20, Willow, drove into the ditch and was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an underage drinking charge. New charges: DUI, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. No bail.

Oct. 6, 3 a.m., Mile 50 Parks Hwy.: Linda L. Marmon, 50, Ninilchik, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $250.

Oct. 7, 7:05 a.m., Lewis Lp.: A caller reported a suspicious car parked in his driveway. Troopers found it up the street with Thomas Papasergia, 47, California, asleep inside. Charge: DUI.

Oct. 7, 12:30 p.m., Beverly Lakes Dr.: Patrick Riley, 59, Wasilla, allegedly drove his 2006 Yamaha Rhino ATV while drunk. Charge: Felony DUI. Bail: $10,000.

Oct. 9, 11:56 a.m., Mile 1.5 Talkeetna Spur: Julie Brown, 51, Palmer, stopped for an traffic violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Oct. 10, 12:06 a.m., Crusey St.: Travis Hill, 32, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $1,000.

Oct. 10, 2:43 a.m., Archie Rd. near Sandra J. Cir.: Aaron Mahan, 19, Palmer, stopped for speeding. Charges: DUI, DWLR, underage drinking, minor driving after drinking. Bail: $2,500.

Oct. 10, 7:34 p.m., Mile 58 Glenn Hwy.: David J. Graf Jr., 23, Anchorage, arrested for Felony DUI, DWLR and having an open container in the vehicle. Bail: $10,000.

Oct. 10, 9:37 p.m., Fairview Lp. and Edlund Rd.: Michele L. Rider, 43, Wasilla, stopped on a complaint from the public. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Oct. 11, 1:50 a.m., Phenix Rd.: Edward George Olesiuk, 42, Wasilla, stopped while driving his ATV by troopers investigating a loud party. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

ACCIDENTS

Oct. 5, 2:38 p.m., Mile 117 Parks Hwy.: Jessica Arness, 24, Kenai, northbound driving a 2008 Ford Explorer, hit a moose. Minor human injuries due to flying glass. Damage to explorer: $10,000. Moose donated to charity.

Oct. 8, 11 p.m., Mile 50 Glenn Hwy.: Michael Paul Furbush, 19, Palmer, northbound when he lost control of his 1981 Chevrolet van and rolled into the ditch. Summons: DWLR. He was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Oct. 9, 8:41 p.m., Church Rd. near Seldon Rd.: Judy Johnston, 29, Sutton, northbound in her 1990 Chevrolet pickup when a 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Michael Bay Jr., 27, Wasilla, pulled out from a driveway and was hit. Both vehicles were towed. All occupants had minor injuries but declined treatment.

Oct. 5, 3:06 p.m., Petersville Rd.: Richard Smith, 83, Trapper Creek, found to have died of natural causes.

Oct. 5, 11:16 a.m., Susitna River Rd.: Rodney Marsh, 77, Trapper Creek, found to have died of natural causes.

Oct. 6, 10:48 p.m., W. Island Dr.: Dale A. Holt, 54, Houston, found to have died of natural causes.

Oct. 7, 5:01 p.m., Crestview Ave.: Mary L. Dietz, 63, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

ASSAULT

Oct. 5, 10:09 p.m., Jonesville Mine Rd.: Helena Wells, 40, Sutton, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Domestic violence assault. No bail pending arraignment.

Oct. 5, 4:48 p.m., Mayflower Ln.: Benjamin Frye, 23, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member and caused unreasonably loud noise. Charges: Assault, disorderly conduct. No bail set.

Oct. 8, 6:58 p.m., E. Barton St.: Shane J. Mahar, 37, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. Charge: Domestic violence assault. No bail set.

Oct. 10, 4:41 a.m., Cottle Lp.: Jeremy D. Smith, 26, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Domestic violence assault. No bail set.

Oct. 10, 11:50 p.m., Wasilla: Ronald D. Oliver, 45, Wasilla, allegedly placed a family member in fear of being assaulted then wouldn’t comply with trooper commands and continued to cause a disturbance. Charge: Domestic violence assault, disorderly conduct. No bail set.

Oct. 11, 3:33 a.m., Swingle Rd.: Lief E. Runstrom, 25, Big Lake, allegedly assaulted a family member. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

DWLSCR

Oct. 8, 12:47 p.m., Parks Hwy. and McCallister Dr.: Adam D. Reed, 23, Big Lake, stopped on a report of reckless driving. Summons: DWLR.

Oct. 9, 12:15 p.m., Vine Rd. near Parks Hwy.: Richard Embry III, 24, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charge: DWLR. Jailed and later released.

Oct. 9, 7:20 p.m., Mile 134 Parks Hwy.: Mathew Grant, 28, Ft. Wainwright, stopped for speeding. Summons: DWLS.

Oct. 9, 9:30 p.m., Seldon Rd. near Sarah’s Wy.: David Anderson, 36, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: DWLS, no insurance, misuse of plates. Bail: $1,500.

THEFT

Oct. 8, 11:56 a.m., Welch Rd.: Sometime between 10:55 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. someone stole $600 worth of items and did $500 damage.
