At 9:27 p.m. Sunday, troopers say, they found the 40-foot trailer where it had come unhitched.
Its front end had dug into the Parks Highway near Mile 96, blocking the southbound lane.

The 2000 Freightliner appeared to have entered the highway from Montana Creek Road hauling a load of crushed cars.
“The driver fled the scene, failing to sufficiently mark the unmarked trailer and notify the authorities of the accident,” according to the press release.

Robbers beat man, take his clothes
WASILLA — Police say they arrested two men for robbery Saturday after they apparently beat another man for his shoes, coat and hat.
A police press statement says the original call to respond to Crusey Street and East USA Circle came in at 4:43 p.m. and was reported as a fight in progress.
According to an affidavit filed in court in the robbery cases against Steven Weeg, 20, and Harley Keller, 18, both of Wasilla, police spoke with the man whose jacket and hat were stolen at a local clinic.
The man told them he’d been walking down the street when a gray Acura pulled up and Keller jumped out. The man apparently knew Keller, at least well enough to give police a name.
“Keller approached him and pushed him and told him he wanted his jacket and hat,” the affidavit states.
Keller and another man started hitting and kicking the man, according to the affidavit.
“The accomplice instructed him to take his shoes off and get on his knees and (he) was instructed to kiss one of the suspect’s shoes,” the affidavit says.
Police say they later stopped the Acura, arrested Weeg and Keller, and recovered the hat, jacket, shoes and $250 that were inside the jacket. Weeg and Keller were charged with robbery, theft and assault.
