ACCIDENTS

1 Nov. 9, 2:19 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Knik: There was a wreck. One of the drivers left before police arrived.

Nov. 10, 5:43 p.m., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and Roberts St.: Someone hit a moose. No human injuries.

2 Nov. 10, 5:50 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Yenlo St.: Someone driving a teal mid-sized pickup with Alaska plates EHK345 that had been reported stolen earlier, bought food at Subway then drove into a red Grand Am and fled.

Nov. 10, 6:17 p.m., Parks Hwy. in front of Target: Two vehicles collided. Minor injuries.

2 Nov. 11, 2:18 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Yenlo St.: Kyrie Towns, 21, Wasilla, entered the highway driving a 2005 Toyota and was hit by a 2005 Chevrolet pickup driven by Daniel Arnold, 61, Wasilla. No injuries.

3 Nov. 12, 5:06 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Church Rd.: A woman allegedly failed to yield when turning left, resulting in a head-on collision. She was cited.

THEFT

Nov. 10, 3:29 p.m., The Source Clothing Company: Someone stole a $73 coat.

Nov. 12, 7:39 p.m., Fred Meyer: A man wearing a camouflage coat and a T-shirt with a 907 logo allegedly stole a gold watch and threatened force against a clerk who tried to stop him from leaving.

DRUGS

4 Nov. 10, 8:51 a.m., Wasilla High School: Administrators reported marijuana was found in a 14-year-old female student’s day pack. The girl was released to her mother and will be charged with felony drug misconduct.

WARRANT

Nov. 12, 10:49 p.m., Parks Hwy. near Alpine St.: Dale Mills, 25, Anchorage, arrested at a traffic stop on warrant for failing to report for a trial. Bail: $2,500.

VANDALISM

Nov. 10, 8:28 a.m., Wonderland Park: A city employee discovered someone had damaged an Enstar gas meter.

ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

DUI

Nov. 12, 12:50 a.m., Mile 8.5 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Harvey J. Kanayarak, 23, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Charges: Felony DUI, DWLR.

Nov. 13, 12:56 a.m., Mile 5 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Laiken Bean, 18, Wasilla, found incoherent driving a vehicle found in the ditch with the engine running. Charges: DUI, MOCA, MCA. Bail: $500.

WARRANTS

Nov. 12, 4 a.m., Knik River Access: Joshua Evans, 26, Wasilla, arrested at a traffic stop on a warrant for failure to appear on a DWLS charge. Bail: $100.

Nov. 12, 2:50 p.m., Mile 1.5 Talkeetna Spur: Erik Barber, 34, Talkeetna, stopped for an equipment violation, arrested on $1,000 warrant for failure to appear in court on DWLS charge. New charge: DWLS. Bail for new charge: $250.

DWLS

Nov. 11, 8:11 p.m., Weber Rd. and Parks Hwy.: Donny Inman, 30, Wasilla, stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

ACCIDENTS

Nov. 11, 8:03 p.m., Vine Rd. and Shady Grove Rd.: William Gruen, 20, Wasilla, northbound driving a 2000 Chevrolet sedan, lost control and hit a southbound 2008 Ford SUV driven by Megan Gabrielle, 23, Wasilla. Damage to the sedan: $1,000. Damage to the SUV: $2,000. No injuries. Gruen cited for not exercising due care.

Nov. 12, 8:40 p.m., Lucille St. and Seldon Rd.: Ashley Jenkinson, 26, Anchorage, eastbound driving a 1991 Toyota 4-Runner, slid through a stop sign and hit a 2003 Ford Focus being driven by Deanna Brown, 18, Wasilla, and then a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Lisa Kelly, 28, Wasilla. No injuries. Jenkinson’s damage: $2,000. Kelly’s Damage: $1,000. The Focus was totaled.
