| Article: | Doris A. Sisk Doris A. Sisk, a resident of the Palmer Pioneer Home, died Nov. 9. Doris was born Sept. 8, 1916 in Liberty, Ind., to Hazel Ruth Witt and Rollo G. Doty. She came to Alaska in 1939 and lived in Seward with her first husband, Joseph Doyle, and their two children, Greg and Ava. After the death of Joseph in 1966, she moved to Anchorage and worked for the civil service on Elmendorf AFB and Ft. Richardson Army Base. In January, 1969, she married Kacel Sisk and they resided in Anchorage until 1979 when she retired and they moved to Wasilla. |
